Welcome to the NZFF March 2015 Screenshot Competition.

This month's rules are as follows (Please read them).
If you have any queries about the rules please PM me for clarification before posting your entry.

1) The screenshot image must consist of a screen captured from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, P3D or X-Plane) and the position of The shot must be from the closest Airfield or Airport to your home.

2) Some editing is allowed (if you know how to do it.) Additional images - either screenshots or "real" images can be added - but the main component of the image should always be of a Flight sim screen capture.

3) The images must be jpg and size must be at least 1024 pixels wide and no wider than 1280 pixels -- A good free resizing program can be found at http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm.
3a) No frames or txt to be left on the image. Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

4) Images can be submitted from March 1st until midnight 31st March 2015, with only one entry of a single image per member.
You can change your image anytime up until 1 hour before the closing time.
To change use the edit button at the bottom of your post, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one
If you post comments using the quote or reply button please edit out all images from your reply or quote.

5) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open for members to vote for the best image, the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize for the month.

“The Closest Airfield or Airport to your home” I may have to get a tape measure out and some chalk measure the distance between Christchurch and Wigram

Putting the DG Rapide into the old YGAT, Gatton College Airstrip, about 2km from my place in QLD Australia. Humps both ends, a dip in the middle, with a 6m cross-fall as well. Now being turned into a solar power farm :(

I've been in the middle selling my home and getting the family ready to.move to the new house. So I missed February's comp, but this one will be great! I'll be using PNW Harvey Field. This would be my "home" airport as its closest to me. I also happen to be friends with the Harveys themselves...I'll point out what buildings are what! :) Great idea for the theme Doug!

This is the old topdressing airstrip just off the Purau Port levy Road. This is part of the farm property which runs all the way down to Port Levy (out of the picture) and is currently for sale. If I'd won Lotto this week, I would seriously consider this property, it is the ideal location for me, it has a beautiful modern house down at Port Levy, and of course its own airstrip...

You can just make out the airstrip between the tyres, this is designated 'NZKZ1 in Vector Land Class. By the way, I can't get over how accurate the view here is using VLC. My house is on the sticky out bit to the right, under the wing-tip. This is the Alabeo C188B Agtruck.

Joe Binka's Canada Geese (Cessna 208 powered) are the only thing flying at a fog-bound Omaka.

Great shots so far ..... yet another , hard to make it stand out theme , with truly endless options.... when you consider the membership.
This one will come down to the voters (all 10 of them <_< ) more than ever ..... come on ,you pack of apathetic (that word again) ..... things . Post ... vote .
I really dont get it, as Ive said before .... all the time Doug spends on this ....and for what? 20 or so entries and F all votes .
I think we have left the "join and vote for me " idiots behind .... so lets get behind this .... think about it , places like Captain Sim , Just Flight, Aerosoft, Carenado .... know and support us , and what do we do ..... F all.
Dont start me on the "hanger full of expensive payware" , or the "super computer editing " stuff . because its bs ..... Ive had my share of that criticism from those quarters , and was happy to shoot them down .

Come on ...... enter ..... dont worry about what others might think... and please don't hold up past winners as a standard .... push your screen in there!
Im a little tired now , and a bit confused , but i hope you know what i mean
