Postby dbcunnz » Sat Oct 31, 2015 11:01 pm

Welcome to the NZFF November 2015 Screenshot Competition.

This month's rules are as follows (Please read them).
If you have any queries about the rules please PM me for clarification before posting your entry.

Can I ask participants to please take note of rule 3: The images must be jpg so please don’t post png.

1) The screenshot image must consist of a screen captured from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-plane or P3D) and the position of the shot must be from somewhere within the New Zealand territory.

2) Some editing is allowed (if you know how to do it.) Additional images - either screenshots or "real" images can be added - but the main component of the image should always be of a Flight sim screen capture.

3) The images must be jpg and size must be at least 1024 pixels wide and no wider than 1280 pixels
3a) No frames or txt to be left on the image
Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

4) Images can be submitted from November 1st until midnight 30th November 2015, with only one entry of a single image per member.
You can change your image anytime up until 1 hour before the closing time.
To change use the edit button at the bottom of your post, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one If you post comments using the quote or reply button please edit out all images from your reply or quote.

5) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open for members to decide who has the best image, and then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize for the month.

6) This month's theme: “AIRCRAFT WITH ANIMAL NAME” (Please state Aircraft details and over which New Zealand Island the image was taken)

I ask all members to please patronize all our very generous prize sponsors.
We have an excellent prize for this month’s competition very generously donated by A2A Simulations

The voting will take place after the competition closes at the end of the month and the winner with the highest vote will get the prize and have their image placed in the NZFF Banner for the month.

This one's for you, Marty!

Cold War comes to the Coromandel!

If anyone's wondering what animal it is ... it's the "Crane" ("Zhuravlik") - the winged one, not the one found in building sites ;)

Choose your name: Viper, Fighting Falcon or in this case: The Orange Lion!

This particular F-16 is the one the RNLAF (Royal Netherlands Air Force) uses as a demonstration aircraft at airshows! Coolest F-16 in existence in my opinion, but I can't be objective since this is my country's F-16 :D (Patriotism engaged!) This is the "new" paint, if you own the AS F-16 you'll find the old paint as it comes standard with the addon.

Godzone Wellington, Aerosoft F-16

So far it looks like four-equal.... Thanks, too, Bruce, for some reason after the first couple of entries I was thinking 'birds', but you reminded me that it was 'animals', which helps... or not...

One of my favourites, a Lama, doing what it does best, flying high in the Mountains around Queenstown

Dragon Rapide ( Dave Garwood's freeware model) flying over the lower slopes of the western side of Mount Egmont/Taranaki. It's sunset on a heavy overcast day, with some eruption from the dragon's lair . . . .
