Yep, as the song says...."We don't know how lucky we are" /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> To all you overseas flight sim enthusiasts, if your gonna fly in NZ, then you gotta have VLC!!! It makes our country look as it really is and there are plenty of free or payware add ons, all very reasonably priced and getting better all the time. /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> ....YAY! Andrew , thought , load your WX once loaded then turn it off , start your flight a t the chosen airfield and switch on real world weather in FS . Sometimes it kick-starts the weather , course bring the resolution back before hand .

The quality of their comments and summing up of what they were responsible for made for a most interesting tour of the airport facilities. I could happily have listened to another hour or two of Kevin's fascinating insights into the workings of the aircraft systems - though I may have needed a few...

Those who have downloaded it may have read the article about prepar3d. They state that the are in the process of doing a complete overhaul of the origonal code to a gpu rendered DX11 world including all the cool stuff that DX11 brings like tessalation and real world lighting etc... Sounds very very interesting.

It also gos the other way in respect waist height bush and scrub , you simply cannot have one or two to define an area which is all you can do , Norfolk Island was an example were to try and get the affect off a very dense shrub opposite the terminal and surround caused a large drop in frames , so the limits work both ways .

Yeah, I have noticed about 20% of the time I have trouble accessing the home page. But a refresh 10 minutes later fixes it.
