QUOTE (SeanTK @ Oct 5 2010, 05:44 AM) While we're on the subject of pricey force-feedback toys: Yep - I've sold a couple of those. They're pretty good, if a little fiddly to setup and get just right. Anyone here have one of these? If yes, how do you rate it?

Finally got some sound outa that radio. feel a bit silly really, although the sim sounds were working fine, I couldn't get any sound outa the radio until I put my headphones in. /icon_redface.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :whoops: border= 0 alt= icon_redface.gif /> The audio setup on my computer is where I should have been looking. Oh well ya live and learn. Next the ADF.

QUOTE (AndrewJamez @ Sep 17 2010, 11:22 AM) i love how you can slave the rotary dial to the elevator trim axis. I have trim on the little knurled wheel - then prop pitch and mixture on the two rotaries - plus reverse thrust on the slider. Can't imagine how I flew without these now! BTW - I found one of the most *useful* bits of software to be a full-blown version of FSUIPC. After that, all you need are all Rob's RealNZ sceneries, VLC ... /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> If you still have any cash left after all that, TrackIR...

QUOTE (husker @ Sep 19 2010, 10:45 PM) Or you could buy a $400 HP touchscreen monitor with a res of 1920x1080 :-) Or from Dell. I like fiddling with computer gear and it is an interesting other use for the Ipad. A third display is also handy! Windows XP also does not support touch screens.

I have only seen a shooting star once in my years of simming. It was in FS2004, after departing at night from Miami in my Dornier Alphajet a couple years ago.

Were course still in winter , but heading into the blustery summers , the norm on a hot day with North Westers wind strength would be very damaging after this little shake up , then since early in the season change a good blow could come up threw the South .. a double edged sword .

QUOTE (NZ255 @ Sep 2 2010, 06:14 PM) Is it possible to have a setting to automatically save them? I'll look, but since you can only store a few PMs, space would fill up pretty quickly, and if you fill your quota with sent PMs you won't be able to receive any PMs either.
