Can't go wrong with Carenado aircraft ..the newer stuff is better - such as the Bonanza F33 and the Cessna 185 (both which I have). They are also bringing out a Cessna Caravan soon. My favourite GA aircaft though in FSX is the Sibwings Cessna Bird Dog.

I have just got a new computer so I am kinda getting back in to simming after a wee while out of it. Anything new since I have been away?

I believe the enjoyment of VFR vs IFR depends a lot on what addons you have installed. VFR in a default Aircraft across default scenery is about as exciting as watching grass grow. But with demon GA addons like realair simulation's Beech Duke B60 or their Marchetti F-260 flying across Supercity Auckland to any of the small photoreal areas like Coromandel or Northland or Rotorua is just fantastic!! Unfortunately at present there isnt as many scenery addon's available for NZ like there was on FS9 so I spend most my VFR time over megascenery's PNW and surrounding US States or...

I agree, the smooth head panning is a major improvement over the default panning. Microsoft should have implemented this, because the default FSX spot camera view has soft panning over the FS9 view which does not so they could have done it.

The Modules folder is in your main FSX folder , this is for addons such as 'FSUIPC' , Goflight instruments DBS , ACX , accessed in your drop down menu by pressing 'Alt' when in FSX.
