Be interesting to compare the Aerosoft Huey to Dodo's , the 206 pass on that one , still looks a nice model but with dynamics upgrade but to close to the default /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

QUOTE (Trolly @ May 12 2009, 09:30 PM) NZFF website stats also show an increase in activity around this time of year too, for the same reasons you've logically worked out. PS: Alex- if you are reading this, could you PM me the access user/pass to the statics control panel, I'd be interested to have a look through the activity charts and graphs but have lost your original message with the details. Done Andrew. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> As a quick aside, the busiest month so far this year has been March, with over 18'200...

QUOTE (Trolly @ May 7 2009, 10:52 PM) I've had my Evo for over a year now and love it- very user friendly and smooth to operate, however, my only gripe would be that it's a little too light weight and sometimes requires me to hold it down on the desk when pulling aerobatic routines- wish it had sucker pads on the bottom like my previous cheapy DSE stick did! QUOTE (happytraveller @ May 10 2009, 02:03 PM) If you get the chance to try out a light twin for real, then you will be very surprised at how much rudder is needed at low speeds, and what a strain this can put on your leg until you get it trimmed out. The saying was 'dead leg, dead engine', and you will quickly understand why!!!! My instructor once told me he didn't like the "dead leg, dead engine" saying because he felt that once you got out of the plane the leg that was doing all the work would be a "dead leg". /laugh.gif style=...

I downlowded this one (I think): PBY Catalina Model: Mike Stone (spby5a.zip at avsim FS2004) NZ repaint: (pby_tcg.zip at avsim, FS2004) Alternative model: Alphasim Payware (FS2004/FSX) Looks good from the outside, no 3D cockpit though.

Cool link! And hey - if the Mythbusters can safely land an Airbus with no previous flying training and only coached over the radio by ATC then who knows!?! God forbid I should ever have to try and talk an inexperienced pilot into landing an aircraft!

Put me down for the precision pro. I've had mine since I was FS98 and mine gives random inputs now. No idea how much to offer though.
