QUOTE (ronindanbo @ Mar 17 2008, 01:29 PM) yes that is what my research has found as well, I am assuming SeanG is only using FSX Nope, still using FS9. And, although I have FSUIPC I setup the throttles directly in FS9's axis assignment menu. For reverse thrust I used the Saitek software to map the "switch" when you pull the levers back beyond the detent to F2 (and repeat). I can take some screenshots of how it is setup if that helps? QUOTE (captainherc @ Mar 9 2008, 08:58 PM) I have been thinking about getting a throttle quadrant and yoke for the past few months. Is the CH Products brand any good. Have seen some for sale on Trade Me in the $300 to $500 range. What does the forum say about the product and the prices offered. Thanks. CH Products top of the line , 2002 this , my FS yoke , was clamped to the table , next month makes it 6 yrs- it is good and still working , only the hat switch has got tired looking to the left a little issue sometimes , DON'T THINK JUST BUY IT ...and not 2nd hand

Those service packs are for the LevelD 767... they are not for FSX itself. Also, as far as FSX is concerned, I think you may need to have SP1 installed to install SP2... (but that might only be for the SDKs)...

QUOTE (Kelburn @ Feb 28 2008, 07:53 PM) In Auckland 2005, that EMB-110 is annoying me thus I want it gone but since it is in .*af format I don't know how to edit it and make it transparent. I can't figure out how to do that with bmp2000. Does anyone have solution. Its been many years since I played around with *.af files - I thought you could change the extension to *.bmp and edit them, then change back. Deane

keyboard shortcuts are also declared in your fs9.cfg in the section. (don't know about FSX). your sim may have started in safe mode, or a new cfg file was created so any customised shortcuts will not be available. I use a heavily customised CFG file so I keep it in a known directroy (rather than in my profile) and reference it when launching FS by changing the shortcut to run 'fs9.exe /cfg:<cfg file>'. Ran

A lot of helo bits will be very hard to get hold of, for two reasons. Firstly because they are so expensive, most operators will want to salvage as many useable parts as possible. Secondly, to avoid the risk of them being re-sold as bogus parts, life expired or damaged parts are often destroyed, by cutting up etc. This may be less prevalent with commercial stuff versus military, but I'm sure the risk is still there. The work around, if you can get onto parts, is to have them rendered un-usable for real applications, by drilling holes, grinding nicks in them etc, in such a way that they...

SIlly me too - it's sitting on my HDD, I just didn't make the ZK- connection with USM  As to the others, I think I painted them, also on AVSIM somewhere, search "Charl" They are perhaps a little hastily done, but it got some Kiwi Harvards in the air at the time...
