QUOTE (Bandit @ Jan 6 2008, 04:17 AM) Hi Peeps, Happy New Year and all that. I just got Issue 49 of PC Pilot mag and went to check out the cover CD. Has anybody else had trouble with the Issue 49 CD or have I just struck a dud one? Hi, I just had the same trouble with issue 49. Tried all the usual work-arounds to no avail. then a friend suggested updating my DVD writers firmware. This is available on the manufacturers site . Download and apply, no more problems! Hope this works for you. Mechanic.

I have decided since 3 airlines a few pilots and so many hours was probably better to have 1 virtual airline, so I decided to do that and now have just one virtual airline but it has eagle air, air nelson, and mount cook virtual within it. I have improved the rank system greatly and i have my virtual airline on one site. airnewzealandlink So yeah, take a look if you want. Cheers.

I have tried to laod a flight plan NZWN to NZAA. All ok untill I get to put in the STAR The STAR I an loading is NOBAR ONE DELTA for NZAA. I built this inthe SID/STAR maker and all seemed to go fine. I got the positions off of the approach STAR plate. At the time I noticed that the LAT and LONG I was writing was not as long as the numbers given automatically by the system. When I loaded the STAR the track went SOUTH from NZWN. When I deleted the point NODAR the flight plan came right. When I write the waypoints off of the charts do I need to alter or add to the LAT / LONG some additional...

QUOTE (ronindanbo @ Jan 2 2008, 04:24 PM) I really think you need to present a bit more of a professional front end to inspire people to join also I think the livery and fleet may not be inspiring people?? Just a sugestion really.. Agreed... Another couple of tips for you, James. Firstly, pilots will come; in time, if they like the look, and presentation of the virtual airline. I really don't think that saying QUOTE virtualnz needs pilots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 will attract that much attention. In fact, it will...

Well survived another one. Kids enjoyed it of course. Anyone want to give me some $$$. I think I need to build a bigger house. The grandparents spoiled them rotten as usual. Having a quiet wind down now before heading back to work tomorrow for 3 days. Looking forward to a 5 day break next week. Hopefully the weather is good next week cos it doesn't look flash around here for the rest of this week. Merry Christmas all and enjoy a safe and happy New Year.
