sitting at work watching hundreds of arrivals and departures a day I can't help thinking that some of those AI pilots have moved on and got jobs with the real airlines!

Well survived another one. Kids enjoyed it of course. Anyone want to give me some $$$. I think I need to build a bigger house. The grandparents spoiled them rotten as usual. Having a quiet wind down now before heading back to work tomorrow for 3 days. Looking forward to a 5 day break next week. Hopefully the weather is good next week cos it doesn't look flash around here for the rest of this week. Merry Christmas all and enjoy a safe and happy New Year.

VAFS3 is good, but isn't that good. We have recently launched Pacific Blue into our Virtual Airline operating ALL Domestic flights around New Zealand in the 737-800.

QUOTE (benwynn @ Dec 24 2007, 12:15 AM) Sorry Charl, but you cant trust the FS9 Fuel Planner.. :P Yes, It depends on your alternate. I normally carry around 1 hour extra fuel.. How about the one in FSX? I haven't spent much time playing around with it yet so I'm not sure if the FSX one is any better.

I did a couple of articles on scenery design on my blog and The idea was to write as I learned so others could benefit from it, but I seem to recall I got a little distracted by the project I was working on at the time and blogging about it seemed less interesting! Have a look anyway. It might help. Regards Richard

This is something I've looked at pretty closely (it was meant to be the other half of Godzone when I started up two years ago.) However there were a couple of stumbling blocks -- freight and GST. Both add a lot more than you'd think, so that it is actually cheaper for users to buy from overseas. For most FS products, when you buy just one, you won't pay GST. Having said that, I think there is a place for a physical FS store -- the folk who shy away from purchasing online tend to want to see stuff before they buy it.

Virtual Airline Financial Systems, more commonly known as VAFS created by Michael Smith is not only for FSX. The programme works for Flight Sim 2002 and earlier. The soon to be released VAFS3 will be a huge step up from VAFS2. Ryan (long_legs1111) and I, CEO's of New Zealand Virtual Airlines can understand the huge transformation you are about to go through as NZVA will soon be doing the same. See more about VAFS here Cheers Max

Might have to try this one. What happens to the bucket when you land? You might find some water drop effects in these files: dh6_fopi.zip as332rhk_V3.zip bell205a1.zip

QUOTE (VH-CC1 @ Dec 14 2007, 12:38 AM) ahhh, all my acft that i paint do that, Put the rego where ever u want it, whne it does the runner, simply put the rego again I.e. zk-aaa straight over the top so it lines up with the first one. Ta for that but I just sussed it out myself (amazing)....all I need to know now is when one half of the a/c is done how do you transpose it onto the other half ? Yes I know I should read the manual but if someone knows sometimes its easier plus when you get into your 50's things get a little harder to understand or it may just be a patience...

I was looking at purchasing that a while ago, but found Fs economy, that has flights that you get paid for. You can start your own companies etc, it's all based around GA planes, and the lower end of the commercial ones as well.
