I think if you like the mag subscribe to it. Gives the publisher more secure revenue stream so more likely to continue. I had a subscription for the last 5years. Also subscribed to computer pilot on the same basis. Ether.

That looks alright to me, I can't see all that well due to the size of the pictures, though. What you will need to do next, is to copy that folder (AICL604 possibly) into the appropriate folder. If it is an aircraft, drop it into the main aircraft folder of MSFS. If it is a scenery folder, drop it into the 'Addon Scenery' folder, and activate it through there /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Ocean FX and Ocean Tex are most likely what you're looking for. These are a texture (and FX) set done by Ed Truthan for FS2002 and "updated" for 2004. There is a GUI front end switch programme ( OceanFX2 ) by Johan de Vries which allows you to select any combination of wave pattern(s). These effects are , unfortunately, static.

I don't think this would be possible currently, as the way you would access the ATC would be through a website, online. I don't think its technically legal to broadcast NZ aviation comms online (same reason NZ feeds were taken off liveatc.net) due to a provision in a communications bill - or some similar legislation... As I said, it makes sense never to just run an executable straight into your flightsim folder. Always point it to a dummy folder, then copy (not cut) the folders over. Unfortuantly, the installer searches for the FS9 reg entry and knows where to go staight away- anyway, thanks for the info. After a lot of copying and pasting between computers, I'm back to where I started /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Its really neat when your sim surprises you every now and then. Today I was roaring out fo Welly in the new Project Airbus a320, when what do I see behind the engines: BTW, I'm not sure if I have the very latest version of the PAv2 installed- my one doesn't have a VC. Could anyone point me in the right direction? The one I have is 'project_airbus_a320-232_anz_zk-ojg.zip' and seems much smoother on frames that the old iFDG one.

Thanks. We are getting there. I opened my Doc folder and selected a zip file. Right click gave me a box. In was OPEN and 7ZIP. I used 7Zip. Click this and got another box. Extract and extract here. Using extract I got another folder with same title but not a zip folder. Using extract here I got another folder same tiltle but added texture etc for the A/C i'm opening. Where to from now. I said I was NOT computer savy. Have done what was mentioned so far and alls good. made a big difference. Also went through the tips aboutmaximising settings etc, managed that ok, so it is sinking in...

Yeah but hardly surprising Brennanx- you are but 15 years old, and I'm double that. You aren't even earning money yet, don't have a credit card yet, but it'll all come one day /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Probably you can't get the gauges to work because you have a pirated version. Suggest you delete it/contact Wilco. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> Alex

They did some astonishing VFR scenery, I have an island off the southern coast of France that hasn't been bettered for ambience and attention to detail. They also did some amazing AI and flyable freeware aircraft. And airports: just one example I can think of is Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. RealCDG v3.1 - brilliant

Y'know when you install an aircraft that needs more than CTRL - E to start, but you just want to see how it flies? Know the feeling, thanks for that tip!

Please follow the NZFF rules and guidelines when posting ZKTOM, particually: New posts: Before posting, check to see if your issue has been covered already. Look back in the most likely sub-forums, and see if your question has been asked before. If there is a recent thread (within two weeks) which is relevant, but you still have further questions, then use that thread. However don't revive an older thread, start a fresh one. . Speaking with a friend of mine who's a pilot for Air NZ on the 772. He says that they only flare the plane at 30ft above the runway and reduce the throttles at 50ft otherwise your plane is just going to drop and you'll have a very hard landing. I've been doing Flight Sim for a long time and I would say I land smoothly most times but I still have the odd bad landing just because I might pull the nose up to quickly or not have enough speed on and sink. But it's just different for each aircraft depending on weight etc, that's where FMC a/c are great because they can calculate...

Possibly, what is probably the case is that you don't have Anti-Aliasing turned on, or not turned up high enough. Anti-aliasing does reduce frame rates, so it will depend on what sort of graphics card you have as to whether its worth turning it on or not. Usually anti-aliasing is managed through graphics card drivers, or some sort of Graphics Card Control Panel firmware. Its hard to say the best way for you to give this a shot without further information. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> Alex
