There are some area's it dose help, sometimes it could muck things up as well , simply if it is working well, no need to update, it is when for example my entire OS decided it had enough required me to install the drivers. Aviator. What Ian said previously is spot on. The latest batch of Nvidia drivers are knowen to be "leaking" VAS at this time, so thats something to be weary of if your running a plethora of hungry addon's. If your driver your currently using is serving you well then there's no need to update it. if you use NvidiaInspecror and have all your setting hunkydorey,...

I really love this extract from the manual : I have read this before in one of my DC-3 books .. so COOL B-) Donald Douglas’s secretary’s phone: Brrrring, Brrrring DD’s secretary: Douglas Aviation, office of the President, how may we help you? Voice on the phone (somewhat grumpy) : This is Cyrus Rowlett Smith, President of American Airlines, let me speak to Donny. DD’s secretary: (button push) — Mr. Douglas, I have a Cyrus Rowlett Sm.... DD (somewhat resigned): Alright Thelma, just put him through.” (click) “Well C.R., how the hell are you? CR (more than somewhat grumpy): Well, Donny, I’m...

Thank you kindly reducing the realism from high to medium fixed the problem. I flew the Beech 1900D from NZWN to NZNV the aircraft tracked nicely the whole way. :plane: :plane: :xmas: :xmas:

One thing Richard my brother pointed out , lucky it was midnight .. he uses that road very regular to his fishing and diving spot just South of Kaikoura , during most parts of the day you have streams of traffic , from tour bus's , camper vans, the cargo trucks then cars, along there not much passing space so they snake thru the region .

I have an early GoFlight TQ6 throttle and became extremely disappointed by them from day one. Their performance is extremely poor for an 'enthusiast' grade product - I don't know if their newer versions are any better. There is a huge amount of 'jitter' in the pots, the reverser axis would keep activating when moving the throttles and none of the throttle levers would 'line-up' making engine power management a nightmare! As Ian said, FSUIPC provides a solution. I calibrated each lever first and then used throttle smoothing and the Sync Pos option - plotting about 10 points per axis. I don't...

That's great news, I'm still installing my stuff, I never went for the electronic map , as I said using real map dose make a lot more interesting checking in with NDB's/VOR , course in New Zealand got to know it so well its hard to get lost.

Actually, I should edit that .. "( full time work , no wife no brains )" ... I walked in the shop , It had only been delivered minutes before .. minutes later it was walked out the door , Austin at 'Clader Electronics' mentioned it was for a business client .. back then it was the 'BEES KNEES' now everyone has a whooper or three or four monitors, I'd just go to your local PC shop for the best recommendations and don't be afraid of telling exactly what you want it for , I would not go to a general department store.
