QUOTE (J7G @ Dec 15 2014,10:44 AM) Really good but needs a lot of getting used to. I got mine from Ian aka: 'Hoki1185' ... after the bang on the head , I found it a little .. best way of putting it , do not use, I have been told by a wise one - Greg , use a little just simply to really get your head around it , I do recall it is an amazing kit .

Great stuff Dean, cheers. Gave me an excuse to buy myself a copy of the Carenado Cherokee. Bought a copy for my Father in law last xmas as it was the aircraft he learned to fly IRL, and keen to do a multi-player flight with him in it

As far as I know, ASN uses textures you have already and doesn't provide any; just the weather. I use ASN in conjunction with REX4.

QUOTE (cowpatz @ Dec 8 2014,2:24 PM) Any scenery that has FS9 objects in it may cause issues. One very useful tool (for those with the FSX SDK installed, anyway) is ModelConverterX. The recent version includes the very handy 'export scenery' button, so you can just load a FS9 library, tell MCX you want a FSX version, and press the button. It will wreck any tweaked objects, though, such as those with conditional displays, or rotate-to-wind etc.

I see that on the DCS forums a lot. Many complaints about tiny things that really don't matter so much in the long run or, like you say, are just a variance not to their liking.

This is an amazing suite of which adds so much to the flight sim experience . I am about to add the switch panel and a second quadrant to complete my set. If you have the funds and a compliant wi fe ( if applicable) go for it, you will open up a new world in this fabulous hobby.

QUOTE (cowpatz @ Dec 6 2014,8:43 PM) I think it might even be written in your constitution Brandon..the first amendment I believe. Lighten up. This is a forum for discussing flight simulation....good and bad. I had a good example, this on release of the Nemeth CH-54, the release happened in between MS Service packs 1 and 2, explained the procedures for the starting and every thing was correct. I then went on to say ... It pops ... It farts ... and then it poohs itself, obviously released without the knowledge of the service packs because a patch was released and was incorporated into...

Thanks a lot, Charl /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> As for the Iroquois... just hold on another second, there is the real chance that just now somebody is doing the real AI thing on the source files as was originally intended by Jordan Moore & Rob Nieuwenhoven. Meaning we might have a real multi-lod Huey soon. Anyway, if reality is so boring to take away all nice aircraft - then it is retro for me. I see your point with the coordinates and appreciate it. Let me give it some thoughts how best to implement it.

Thanks for all of your comments. I have just finished reconfiguring my set up so that I can add a seventh monitor, which I am going to install into the ceiling and use to display the overhead panel. As for seats, yes that is also part of my plans for finishing off. I am finding it hard to get all the bits and pieces finished off as I am always flying. Anybody is more than welcome to come over and spend some time in my sim, it would be great to get other peoples feedback and comments actually !! I have also worked out and have done my drawings to make 737 style control columns

QUOTE (Charl @ Nov 24 2014,10:43 PM) And what I meant to say in the first place to make it a lot easier, was: See and Thanks, could have used those instructions with that earlier, but obstinately tried to do it myself so the learning would stick. What I found... between frustration, irritation, anger (all the wrong emotions) is that I am incredulous we still have this complex requirement to get a simple video to screen. I knew putting up the image to Youtube was relatively easy, but the drama on trialing "recommended" solutions suggested off multiple forums, introduced a...

QUOTE (Dean @ Nov 17 2014,12:31 PM) What do you know! The Osprey is on sale now as part of the G20 Summit Sale, along with a number of LatinVFR airport sceneries at half price. Haha, nice timing Dean. Already got the Osprey (be great if a few others scored it, would be a fun multiplayer machine), am definately gonna grab a couple of those LatinVFR titles, Bermuda and Peurto Rico prolly. Cheers /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif />
