If the kids go to bed at 8pm, I'll use a "all the buttons, levers and switches" type of plane If the kids go to bed at 10pm, I'll use a crtl+e type plane /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />

QUOTE (emfrat @ Feb 17 2014,1:40 PM) Wasn't sure if it was the VLC or Ham X - I have both. Man you guys are keen. I must admit I was using an older list of fields when constructing the route. I did a FSX Flightplan so I could start the trip, needed to miss a couple out. /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> Does anybody know how I can upload a PLN file?

Same very thing happened with Flight Unlimted 1-2-3 packages and Fly 1-2-3 was another twenty years back , simply they fizzled out due to limited design and builds and the option and ability to build on it , P3D may not be struggling .. its the transition stage .

Better off buying what and put it on your shelf .. It dose prove not everything is available via the internet ... so believe what is furniture to many may still be sitting on shelves years to come .

The best thing might be to actually ring ANZ and ask, see where that road takes you.

Thanks Robin. Forgot that Marlborough was free now. That's quite a gift for the community! I will need to do the official Store contact thing for Nelson, as I have backups for everything else except that it seems. I have my invoice readily available, so I'll send you the info in the near future. Looking forward to the new Wellington and your other future products!

When I did that this was the URL I have copied, try this, sorry I am not the brightest bulb in this area. Kind regards harold

QUOTE (HercFeend @ Feb 1 2014,4:38 PM) Problemo solved. All working now. The only thing different is I haven't reinstalled ORBIX scenery. Maybe that had something to do with it........ Who knows!! So many issues with the Big O and its scenery addons - two most prominent is elevations and gable roofs textures for us scenery designers , would surprise me if it affected other area's .

See if the aircraft.cfg entries for those AI planes have the following line in their config files located within each livery's section: atc_parking_codes= You can change that code to some three or four letter identifier, and also change the airport's AFCAD/AFX file so that certain parking spots accept aircraft specifically with that code. It doesn't always work if you have a lot of active AI and the gate is full before the plane gets there, but more often than not, it does what you want.

QUOTE (FunkymonkeyNZ @ Jan 29 2014,9:16 PM) .......I'm against the hacking/piracy that forever chips at the ankles of our great hobby but i will say this. I am a big believer in reaping what you sow. there has been times where i have seen comments from Avsim mods the are incredibly rude and one sided and banning people left right & center without the need for an explanation. i see a whole lot of brown nosing and who ever speaks up or goes against the grain gets flamed then banned, and i'd say there are a fair amount of disgruntled ex-avsim members out there. again i dont...

QUOTE (Scupper @ Jan 26 2014,9:21 PM) I fly P3D2 too, - finally uninstalled FSX a couple of weeks ago because I was never using it. For a number of reasons, especially frame rates in my case, P3D2 seems to give an experience which is much more like real flying than FSX. No experience on Vatsim but I imagine a lot of people are using P3D2 on it (just a guess...). I bought the Academic version on the basis that I am always learning and trying to improve how I fly and don't feel a need to make a large donation to the US military-industrial complex (of which Lockheed Martin is a...

QUOTE (rocky289 @ Jan 23 2014,7:58 PM) If you have a spare hour or two, this covers it all. Thanks for the link. It is very comprehensive. I thought someone may have posted their settings that were an improvement on the default settings. I will go into this more deeply once I have gained some more experience with the program.

QUOTE (NZ255 @ Jan 15 2014,11:19 PM) With the release of REX 4 I've finally downloaded it but with so many options to chose from I haven't found a realistic NZ sky/cloud/water combo Anyone have something they can share? (Screenshots and your settings would be handy) Cheers, Nick There is a theme called New Zealand. Maybe you could look for that one? I use it and it seems like it does the trick but I do think the range of textures is far from adequate to meet the variety around the world. NZ is always left off the list except for the lovely Carenado team who made the B1900 in...
