Hi there. I fly the Cj1 from Eaglesoft and have done so since 2005. I have been on several world trips and it is still my all time favorite payware plane ( although QW146 is challenging that position ). I am looking at getting the upgrade for FSX. The Cj1 is very user friendly.. Cheers

Hey Ian, Yeah, I just have to keep in mind these are more universal configs as aircraft scripts will surely be separated and API plugins will allow for modification of various parts and objects. Given that this is an "Engine" I don't expect to see all options embedded into it, it does need to stay pure in it's form. Edit: Simulation cores will be added separately is what I should have said. K.

I use a tip of Rob's actually. If I want to fly in, say, Auckland I'll get REX to load textures based on condtions at the nearest weather station. These will then remain whether you use real world weather or an FSX theme. When I change location, I just repeat the process. This prevents you having to have to load weather textures every run while also keeping the look changing regularly and from season to season. Seems to work well, and once the textures are in FSX, you don't even have to run REX unless you want to use its weather engine. Ade

QUOTE (metalnwood @ Apr 10 2013,12:12 PM) I never noticed but it seems strange that the game would tie in the rudder to other control surfaces when they are not that way IRL. It is a FS9/FSX thing with rudder tied in with nose wheel steering , many simply don't even have rudder pedals and can only use the auto feature for ground turning and they don't notice it , another example of this - a couple design groups even animate turrets on WWII bombers to give it the that someone is on board and in position operating it .

Hope that Aerofly get this working and released soon, as their other simulator is already impressive, even with its limitations. And that blog/website is quite an interesting find as well, some news there that I had missed. smooth landings.

the way I see it, at the end of the day, its in his best interests to talk up FSX and P3D, if he doesnt promote it, he looses out on an income theres a lot of Xplaners out there that say the same thing about FSX funny enough there may be a lot of people who still cling to MSFlight DCS is slowly picking up speed, they may include a civil factor soon who knows one mans views on a market which is his source of income shouldn't be taken as gospel, no matter what you say it will be a very biased approach on his behalf on the other hand if a independent guru or group spoke about all thats out...
