QUOTE (ZKIWI @ Nov 26 2012,11:07 PM) I am unsure if you can see them from within the sim if connected to Latitude while flyingNever get sick of the sim and simming. From the forum you can't - you need a Vatsim client or other multiplayer service to see other pilots inflight. SimAir will show other VA pilots though........ QUOTE (ZKIWI @ Nov 26 2012,11:07 PM) These long haul flights are getting a bit tiresome. What!?!??! Is the Government not providing you with upgrades!?!?! /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt=...

Be interesting to see the CBS programme 60 Minutes , i read a little problem with them , one air force spokeman blamed it on a small fleet and not really tested , that was going back 2005 Avalon airshow time and reason it did not show .

The problem with scrap aircraft components is the risk of people using it again or on-selling as bogus parts, this is especially true of helicopter parts. Hence a lot of places will be reluctant to let stuff go. In fact in some cases (for example time expired rotor blades) it's mandatory to physically cut stuff up so it cannot happen. Also because of the price of spares, anything usable will be held for future use. When I was in the Air Force one of my friends had to witness all the remains of a fuselage from a crashed Iroquois going through a metal shredder at a scrap yard to verify it...

Wow, intriguing, had not heard of TriDef before. Seems to support a lot of games. Thanks for the heads-up. Must be a LOT of work going on in the GPU or CPU to perform the image split and depth-of-field effect huh Would really wanna experience this myself though before splashing out (do have a 3D TV now) as there seems to be mixed results from those that are using it.

I have to admit .. Racing car games really can grab the real flyers .. many years back my brother rode back from the airport after his flying lessons .. always stopped in at my place on his return home .. not to relive flying but to go car racing , Rally driving more the preferred .. so much for the aviator /rolleyes.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= rolleyes.gif />
