QUOTE (Charl @ Aug 20 2012,3:00 PM) P3D seems to be focussed on things beyond the entertainment world. Maybe when they have completed the package, that will make very attractive , to have it working with many different types of sim with option of combat and with new coding , currently its still in is infancy in respect to the many thousands of dollars of payware .

Anything that would shimmer when seen from far away. So, airport sceneries are where I started, followed by AI planes. There's some issue with MIPS and photoreal tiles, I just leave them with alpha fix only. There's no point in mipping flyables, really, as you are generally close up.

It is an ideal aircraft that suits the NZ terrain whether its VLC or ORBX , long range tho could be a chore plodding along out across the Pacific , course CH Yoke/Quad/Pedals or Siatek make it .

Yeah I think most would second the Gold suggestion, a few addons now that required Accel pack

QUOTE (spongebob206 @ Jul 18 2012,3:58 PM) Haha Yep...to many wines last night /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> I have the setting for hybrid, feet and millibars. ATC reads as Feet, millibars but aircraft only feet and inches /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> Win7 Issue? If you mean the subscale on the altimeter, then it is specific to the aircraft you are flying. It depends what altimeter gauge has been used.

QUOTE (Sinz @ Jul 5 2012,1:58 PM) firstly after Deeknows FFmpeg suggestion. (I also prefer a GUI than a console.. consoles remind me of DOS which I have pretty much forgotten now /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />) Yeah well it is used a lot from the command line, usually in a *nix environment which is where the guys I work with employ it (we build a video recording/transcoding product) Good to hear you're having fun playing with options.

QUOTE (gojozoom @ Dec 13 2010,1:10 PM) I'm thinking about buying this as a little Xmas present for myself (already bought a new vacuum cleaner for the wife /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> ). It has everything I need + force feedback + additional rare features and the price is awesome ($340 NZD on pricespy)! Has to be better than the Num Pad for rudder control. Keyboard is really starting to annoy me as far a rudder is concerned. Ever since flying real world weather with REXE, and getting that slew effect big time. (Want a...

QUOTE (Naki @ Jul 1 2012,12:59 AM) Geat add on but I had to turn off Accusim for the Lotus L-39 as it was weirdly pitching back and forward a lot (never use to). Some fiddling with the Accusim controls should get rid of it. I haven't had any problems with the L-39, but it has caused a bit of "twitching" in a couple of freeware addon aircraft I have. Easily fixed though.

QUOTE (morrisman1 @ Apr 30 2012,10:26 PM) Hi guys. My g940 has been sitting lonely for too long, it is time for it to go to a new home. Immaculate condition and was an absolute pleasure to use. Obviously designed as a combat control system but works a charm with FSX. There are a huge number of functions so it takes a hour or so to set it up to your preference but well worth it. Force feedback is grunty, IL2: 1946 makes incredibly good use of it. FSX default is a bit average but it makes manual trimming so much easier, especially with the trim wheel to roll. Have a look at their...
