I believe that you can update the bios of some Z68 boards to support the new IB chips too.

QUOTE (toprob @ Apr 2 2012,9:04 PM) The main problem I have with these folk is that it is almost impossible to figure out the facts on their product pages. I bought an earlier mesh which included NZ, as the website promised 'better resolution than default' but it turned out to be another SRTM 75 metre mesh, albeit fixed in the obviously damaged parts. Quick -- what resolution is this? There's lots of talk about LODs there, but what does that mean to the average customer? I get a bit jittery when the marketing-speak obfuscates the facts. I agree with that, So much gobble...

Thats going to give FSX a good future as it contiues to evolve as a sim in Prepare3d. If addon makers have to improve their addons to work in such a sim its a good thing as the graphics are better and they might be able to add features that weren't possible in FSX.

QUOTE (Ether @ Mar 31 2012,8:14 PM) What is the account number so I can interbank money to minimise losses in fees etc Ether To comply with the bank's security requirements, the bank account details are supplied via the Godzone Store . Just select 'New Zealand internet/bank transfer' as the payment method.

A short hop over from the UK (in those days). Amazingly, people came from as far away as Canada and Israel!!! They weren't *huge* events (as meets go), but incredibly friendly - and great fun. It was a much smaller...

QUOTE (Adamski @ Mar 24 2012,12:35 AM) I stuck your NZ2415 in the 75_DT variation, as that's where NZ2406 was. John painted NZ2406 , the batch off 30 Muzzies that first arrived in 1945 , so put the paint on this model would historically , well - would be more authentic .

QUOTE (chopper_nut @ Mar 24 2012,9:24 AM) Not many shows can boast a Vulcan..... A pity they could not world tour that one to coinside with the worlds airshows show we all can see that , but i guess airframe limits and engine life is something that has to be looked after , it would be interesting to see how brought 'Vulcan to the Sky' XH558 for the money went to the restoration of that big V .. just for interest sake , that older model for FS2004 dose work in FSX .

The issue has been sorted through RegNow. Aerosim also just responded saying that under no circumstances (forgetting to back up, computer explosion, house fire, etc) do they provide back up copies, but it looks like RegNow was able to ignore that odd sort of customer service practice.

QUOTE (Lapun @ Mar 21 2012,11:44 AM) 'Flight' has given FSX a new lease on life and we simmers will benefit from the 3rd party developers renewing interest as they breath a sigh of relief. A good point -- you could look at it as the best of both worlds for developers -- plenty of life left in FSX, and the hint of a more open Flight down the track.
