Have had EZCA or EZDOK, as some call it, for a couple of years. Designed by some Russian gents, it's a work of genius - unfortunately the instructions, written by these same guys, lose a lot in translation. Performance-wise, I'm still discovering what it'll do. Using various stick and keyboard controls, I have complete exterior and interior coverage and it loads with FSX. Later this summer, they're planning an updated version which, they assure, will be more streamlined and user friendly. They're on Simforum - ezdok section.

QUOTE (Rotordude @ Jul 21 2011,11:03 AM) No that was before boosting the physical memory. I costs nothing to try . I will. What I need to do is study up on overclocking my E8500 duo - from all I've read, a good candidate. though I'll probably need to improve the cooling.

QUOTE (creator2003 @ Jun 25 2011,5:00 PM) is the runways and taxiways got a poly runway or is that just the raw photoreal ,i see this in ants new ybbn airport aswell ,just doesnt look like there is a poly taxiway/ apron there and i wonder why it looks so blurry . YPMQ doesn't include any groundpolys. It uses the photoreal for the taxiways and aprons then on top of that is all the markings, lines and default FSX runway. It is a very good airport. I like it. /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif />

I run a 64bit system with a 3.2Mhz quad core cpu and 8gb of RAM. I've installed FSX and acceleration on my C Drive in the Program Files (x86) where it was automatically installed by FSX setup. I've had no issues with FSX and Acceleration so my first question would be do you have FSX SP 1 and / or FSX SP2 installed? If you do that may be why you can't install Acceleration. If that is the case uninstall both FSX SP1 and FSX SP2 then install Acceleration. Hope this helps.

Just don't install it in \program files !! /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Install it into c:\fsx and it will exist quite happily next to fs9 (which should be in c:\fs9). Works great for me /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Sounds like you have deleted a effect texture from the effects /texture folder in the main directory or replace it with BMP file ,cant tell you the name on the effect without looking more but it should be named as to what it does etc ..

QUOTE (Charl @ Apr 20 2011,8:40 AM) This is a cute idea... you could pirate the software, and then chance your arm on the developer's support forum! If he's awake and denies support, you could then pop up on some random forum and plead, hoping some kind soul will provide you with advice. Even if that fails, well, it hasn't cost you anything but a bit of time, eh? Interestingly, some developers are getting pro-active and uploading Bombs onto the torrent sites. At the very least, it is a crippled product that is delivered, but some have less of a sense of humour: they...

Just dowloaded the demo but it looks a little hardcore for what I was wanting. Instructor station looks more suited to a professional simulator and the computer out to the side which the supervising instructor uses to set up the lesson. That sort of thing as far as failures go but something a little on the less serious scale. Something iPhone based would be mint but I dont think there is such an app.

Most of the problems reported when SP1 and SP2 came out were because of hacks/fixes applied by users before those service packs came out. A few problems have been observed with installation but in general, they are a must have- The service packs fix a whole heap of things with FSX and most addons require them to be installed. If you are flying FSX without the service packs applied then you are potentially missing out on a lot of performance and features (espectially if you have a multi core processor, the power of which is only supported with application of SP2)
