Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think TMFViewer is a tool in the SDK used to open and examine certain data elements within BGL files (Such as LOD's/Water Masks/Seasonal Data etc). Its often run in conjunction with other tools and editors for various purposes.

QUOTE (dbcunnz @ Mar 3 2009, 03:02 AM) If you have Aircraft you want to save. You can drag holding the Ctrl key to copy, copies of your FSX SimObjects folder, Gauges, Effects and Sound folders onto a USB external drive or into a Temp folder then burn them onto a CD or DVD, these can then be used to replace their respective folders once you have reinstalled your FSX I would recommend that you reinstall any add-on scenery again. Hope this helps Doug Thanks Doug, I thought that would probably be the way and have some dvd's to burn to....................

Remember when you install service pack ,,paint installed on aircraft will disapare to default again ,so its best install sp1 sp2 before setting everything up fully ,, you will get a boost in performance by far to the default install as thats where all the probs and bad said about it was from ...

Hehe, well I was surfing around and I found a Red Arrows Plane Hawk, this has a control in the VC you can have Red, White or Blue smoke, you an even combine them and make colors like purple. And while I'm on the subject of Red Arrows, Red number nine for this year is a kiwi who use to fly in the RNZAF, good on him! And If anyone does every read this, It would be nice to have a panel on the Extra to change colors /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Trev, Hunt down a copy of Craig Read's tutorial for the PMDG 747. The procedures are (obviously) 747 specific, but the 747 does rather depend on you being able to drive the FMC, so a very large part of the manual is about how to drive the autoflight systems and the FMC. As luck would have it one Honeywell FMC is very much like another, so the bits of Craig's tutorial that are about the 747 FMC (i.e. quite a lot of it) will be every bit as applicable to your 737PIC as they were to my LDS767 - in fact I have used it as a 767 tutorial flight /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid=...

hi bob, i had that problem too, i installed the orbix and woai ai aircraft, but they would not show up, it turned out that the problem was that some of the flight plans were in fsx format, and 1 other was in fs9 format. when you have a flight plan in fs9 format installed in fsx, it stops the fsx flight plans from being active. i fixed it by changing all the flight plans to fsx format by using a program called AIFPC. that fixed it and i got all my other AI traffic working, hope that helps a little, Jason

QUOTE (ChrisL @ Dec 29 2008, 04:58 PM) I notice only fs2004 and fsx get mentioned in this forum. Is there any reason why the scenery downloads available can't be used with fs2002? Normally any new sim has some degree of backward compatibility, but almost no forward compatibility. That means that most modern techniques just won't work in an older sim, because the rules have been changed. FS2004 is considered a classic; FS2002 was considered a dog:)

Looks fantastic.....I REALLY wish our Government would gets in A into G and provide a public/free country wide mesh and aerial photography service for the country. At the moment there is no policy, only a guideline/set of intentions for getting public data available to the public...
