Ok, I think ive found the culprit, I downloaded Ian Thacthers NZ terrain for fsx and put an updated nzaa file in as well. It seems that has fixed the problem. Must have been a rogue bgl cause it's all sweet as now. But thanks for the info ooOOOOOOoo. Much appreciated /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif />

Thank you so much Robin, that has been and will continue to be a great help. One more thing the jetways won't attach to my plane(just these ones, all others are fine) is this a limitantion within flight sim/sdk or do i have a setting wrong? I created my airport with AFCAD2

QUOTE (Timmo @ Nov 11 2007, 06:44 PM) its a pain because you are low most of the time! spot on. I've been doing some "de-leafing" of the trees in most of the south island national parks in my new F-14, speakers turned down cos of the "too low, gear" etc cr@p /angry.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= angry.gif />

I see two problems with SP 2. Can we now forget all those addons, working under SP 1? It´s only a question but often enough after such critical updates we user´s are in trouble. And maybee no Addon-Company can cost efficient bring out version for Addons for FS 2004, FS X SP 1 and FS X SP 2... ? Only a question but very serious in my eyes. The second. I do not use Spy Vista and have no reason to do so. In Germany it is very unpopular. Only new machines came with it but older machines... nobody want it really. I have my Windows XP with SP 2 and i did not need Vista. And to have a bit more...

QUOTE (FlyingKiwi @ Oct 19 2007, 04:22 PM) If you load up the default baby elephant mission, there are quite a few elephants roaming around the airfield that you start at. Thanks guys, will try that out. I think I'm going to see how many dolphins I can add to Robins Tauranga scenery before my machine gives up!

QUOTE(cirrusnature @ Oct 5 2007, 05:34 PM) The one "fix" that really stands out for me is this "Optimization of terrain IO for photo-scenery and scenery load out of the zone  fixes to help reduce blurries". From what you can see Rob,has this made any noticable diffrence to you. Thanks Here's an update -- I did in fact just figure out that Acceleration switched off my extended ground textures, which accounted for the perceived lack of sharpness. However turning it back on puts things back the way they were, and the fact that it wasn't an obvious drop in...

/sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> It's hard enough finding decent addons for FSX as it is, and with FS9 stuff rarely working without some kind of problem. Devs are saying they don't want to have to develop everything twice to support both sims. Now FS9 stuff is even less likely to work, and there is a third stream for addons that work with DX10. With the implicit statement that 'old' addons won't work at all in future, I'm starting to look for phrases containing the words "straw" "camel" and...
