It does seem to be a SP2 problem, although I'm not sure if SP1 also causes problems (don't run SP2). I tracked it down to FS2002 specific scenery and have created a lean version of NZQN that doesn't crash. I'll be making it available to Sim Pilot customers over the next few weeks. Christian

QUOTE (ZK-LGD @ Mar 8 2009, 07:06 PM) Just meant the "Golden Wings" component would have to be scrapped. It's easy to switch on/off particular elements of NZTopo (thanks! Christian) that are truely modern. The real challenge, however, is obtaining information (from the 1950s-60s) to redesign local city LandClass to lay over the top of Christian's NZLandClass. Will have to visit NZ Archives and see what I can dig up. Let me know how you get on Dorian,...... i'd be interested in how you get on with this........... Lawrie. /New_Zealand_etc.gif style=...

QUOTE (ROBBO @ Feb 22 2009, 02:47 AM) Hi Lawrie. Got it sorted. I overlooked the static object files in the main Raro file. Looking forward to downloading other airports you have done. Good one,......... glad you got it sorted. As well as NCRG Raro Intl, i have also released NCMK Mauke Airport now. NCAI Aitutaki will be out within the next week, followed by NCAT Atiu, and NCMG Mangaia. Wasn't there a tool for 2002 2004 that manipulated the mesh by pulling up and down etc in its own program ,now i cant remember the name of it but it was from flightsim.com ,it was something like mesh builder or something ,someone else mite remember what im talking about ? i remember i was wanting to build a island, just a random one and this tool would do that . I am doing a addon at the moment that covers the Waikato in photoreal ,though the lake is not part of that coverage sadly Does it show as water /lake there ? and what part are you trying to achieve making the lake bigger and...

Yeah well ive done it with other types of scenery that do this drop frames ,so i removed the older afcad files out and sweet ,,though i always start with just the photoreal files and then drop one file in at a time restart or refresh the cache in the scenery library menu and see what happens each time soon you will find the bad file/files and make sure they get deleted,,so then you have a base ,maybe not all it was there ,but a start /base that can be worked on over time so once you have it working you mite just to make a new afcad .. i would just have ago at modding it ,im pretty sure it...

Hi Naki and Waka, I hope you guys are looking forward to the real deal which will be released very soon - i.e., the commercial version. The freebees link at the site is merely Afcad versions with generic MS objects and airport layouts. The commercial version has customized dirt sloped strips, sounds, etc with an immersive feel to each region of the country; at least from the look of the site and comments made at different forums. Regards, Wantok
