Another long time aircraft, I was going to get this one , then wholip , the CS-130 was released or FS9 , think I'll give this a miss as well, looks dated.

I think directly, listen to that CL-215 video , the Alphasim Caribou engine sounds would be the better choice , they did have this unique sound and loud.

I'm sure he will be very interested with that scenery backdrop , course then add the free stuff incoming.

deeknow ... i downloaded it the afternoon, it's free (the base package) I've never heard of it before, but it seems to have a huge following. Like most of these sims, the interface is a little confusing, but the graphics are just amazing . Im trying to find out more about the "camera" settings , and , or options . Will pop some screens up when i can.

Both the Boomerang and the P-40 were a breeze to slop paint onto so I'm guessing his DC-4 would be a piece of cake.
