I loaded this up and...was completely underwhelmed! I'm not sure it's the fault of the model, though, which is pretty competent all round. I remember Constellations as massive, snarling beasts that shook the earth as they passed overhead. But you know, it's really not as big as a 737, even.

If the repaint was designed and made for the wilco a320 for FS9 then they would be in that format ,ie like dx3 /dx1 bmps ,now the wilco a320 FSX version should have the same mapping for those maps but will like dds textures if it is a Real FSX model so maybe just changing the format to DDS with the image tool mite work sweet with the wilco or the DX1 and DX3 type maps could just work ok as long as they are for that model "WilcoA320"... could you drop a zip file name of the textures you are looking at here so i or someone else can see if they are 4 the wilco and if there is a chance...

QUOTE (Naki @ Oct 23 2008, 03:35 AM) The Carenado one isnt out yet and its an older N model and I doubt it has an inbuilt GPS. Flight 1 has a 172R which can be patched to FSX...but it dosent have an inbuilt GPS either - those the only 172s I know of for FSX - one aircaft that is very good and is fully FSX compatible with a great inbuilt GPS is the Dreamfleet Piper Dakota OIC. Well I thought it would be easy to get the FS9 replacement. Cheers.

I personally like Alphasim's Hughes MD-500 helicopter, although I do recommend using David Gibson's Bell 206 handling fix ( a replacement .air file, don't worry, it works great on the MD-500) for it. Comes in a couple civvie versions, plus the fearsome MH-6 Little Bird attack helicopter variant.

QUOTE (JonL @ Oct 14 2008, 05:06 PM) How about Opensky freebies yea poskys rendition is very good for a freeware aircraft but when push comes to shove, when pushing tin from country to country a FMC is a must! i know this may be a slap in the face for some but its just not flyable for long distance.

QUOTE (Albatross @ Oct 1 2008, 08:03 PM) This one is an easy install really, did you install the panel/ gauges package as well? There are two downloads at the top of this page, one for the panel, the other for the sound. You need the panel one as well as the model in the very least. The instructions on how to install it are on that page /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Cripes, didn't see that. I just downloaded the Air NZ model lower down the page. I'll install those tonight. Thanks!
