A decent non-member site is simviation.com , but I would highly recommend becoming a member (its free) of avsim.com or flightsim.com , as they are the most comprehensive FS download sites on the internet. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> Alex

QUOTE(anthonynz @ Jul 1 2007, 08:08 AM) dose any one know where i can get a copy of an mosquito fighter bomer which can work on fsx from Just Joined this group via voz. AH built the Mozzie sim but Just Flight and flightsim store were advertising the Moquito only package pre xmas. I phoned Just Flight in the UK last week and was tentavely told October. Iv'e been a Mozzie fan since 633 squadron those lovely lines and fighter performance. Hope this gives you some joy

An earlier version was used for GNZLAP AI - that's what you see in the background. The model was updated somewhat after that. Doesn't bother me that it's maybe a FS2002+ standard, it fits the Hamilton scenery. Neither are state-of-the-art, but I prefer consistency in a sim to outright eye candy. At RealNZ Tauranga I prefer that little Cessna 150, for example.

Thanks for the link- I downloaded immediatly and took it for a spin around Corsica. Unfortuantly, it isn't really my cup of tea. Low and slow used to be the only way to go for me, but even the Fokking Triplane is faster! Any ideas for a flight with this little thing other than where I took it before? I'm sure theres a little stretch of back country somewhere just perfect for the job... EDIT: After closing down the sim and a little further thought, St Maarten would be a perfect playground for the Foxbat, just like the ultralight in the first FSX demo!

I've done a basic repaint for the Vincent Dash 8 for the FS9 default model (ideal for AI). Search on flightsim.com for "vadash8.zip".

QUOTE(Alex @ Sep 10 2007, 07:27 AM) I don't think so, there was a dispute between the marketing guy and the creators of the aircraft, the company closed etc, you can actually read a thread about it here . That dispute effectively means its available from nowhere. I believe that it would still only be compatible with FS9 if you were to get hold of a copy somehow. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> Alex I am still only running FS9, so if anyone wants to sell their 340, I would be very keen to buy.

QUOTE(benwynn @ Sep 2 2007, 01:09 PM) I didnt know Ariane had FMCs in there Aircraft? Or is it not functional? Very much so - there is a manual devoted to it. The model has flaws, like anything else. One of them is that the labels in the VC are extremely hard to decypher because the resolution is so poor. There will no doubt be others, I will ramble on a bit more when time permits.

As you've said you're not too computer savvy, payware aircraft are generally easier to install as there's no clicking and dragging folders, it's just a matter of clicking 'next' on the installer. And I think pretty much everything Carenado is great. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif />

I can read German and they didn't have too much good to say about it....It says its payware but on the manufacturer website i can't find many details about it at all. (price etc)....in my opinion the only impressive thing about it is the fact that it comes with a host of interesting liveries including a Surveillance Australia version. But I don't think i would get the credit card out for the visual model though. If I'm honest I have better freeware aircraft in my hangar. Cheers Florian - YSSY

QUOTE(Trolly @ Aug 23 2007, 11:33 PM) Perhaps it is just me, but that exterior model looks horrible... fs2002ish or something! Yeah, this aeroplane is really only for those who don't take screenshots, have an old computer or really like Virtual cockpits.
