Anyone else having major perforamce problems with the FSX G1000 guages? In any of the G1000 aircrafts VCs I get about 3rd of my perforamce in other other aircraft. They are prety well simulated, not to well on the MFD but the PFD is nice.. Sadly I can't use my fsx ones, it was odd, when I first did my upgrade I didn't get to much of a fps drop with them, but now im getting really bad.. slowly getting worse over time. James

It's an El Niño year. The hot weather is being blocked by unusually warm sea currents spawning low pressure system after low pressure system after... Basically we need a shift in the ocean currents to break the cycle. Don't know how you'd achieve flooding in the sim. It's not just towns and fields flooded from burst river banks, there are airfields under more than a metre of water (less "wet wet wet", more "glug glug glug"!) Of course you can guarantee FS would still show it as desert!

Well you could try HoverControl, Avsim, FlightSim.com, FSimCafe.com, SurClaro, FS2004.com. And thats just naming a few maybe try google its a really good tool for searching you will be amazed at what you might find when you look for it. SQ350

Also why does the screen go all red when I'm taking it for stunts? are you going straight down? If so you are redding out. When to much blood goes to your head. The opposite to blackouts I think when not enough blood goes to your head.

lol i spent all last nite trying to fix the problem and i FIXED it :D It was something with my internet exploroer downlaoid thingy so i installed firefoc and now i can downlaod off it:D:D:D:D

yeah i like the naval version better ,its sad that these models dont get realeased with a source file like they do over at hovercontrol ,its a real waste to the company and the designers that design these models whatever they are fall to the waste side and never get to be relived again ..what where they thinking , i could model a new one up but getting into fs working is other matter ,i dont use gmax i use later versions of max and ive always had a problem exporting them ,textures are the main problem there nothing ever maps properly and max doesnt like the dx3 textures ,just loses map cords...

ive started the repaints for the german bk117 beta ,but anyone will tell you around here im the worst for getting my work out of the ADD shop , ive been supply photos and and have got the most of it done but this will have to be change for each model ak/wn/ch im open to anyone wanting to do them and will help with the signs and markings ive got still for the job 1 day at time for me the lazy simmer >nzflag< :thumbup:

Interesting article Hinch- true for me about the short attention spanned teachers who go straight for the 747 lol! I'm going to download that Piper Kitten repaint- it makes the Cub look pretty decent and will worth taking for a good ole' bush flight, which I havn't done in quite a while.
