I've got some excellent sounds that have the most realistic interior and APU sounds. The wind sound is also real as you can heart the tearing noise inside that is heard while traveling at 700km/h at 36,000 feet. ffx73csn.zip from Flightsim.com The internals are really good. The wind (I can't stress this enough) is realistic and the engine noises are good as they reflect the rumble made when sitting behind the engine.

there is a sound problem with fsx i think,...the startup sounds dont work right from what ive seen,...that is because fsx has a different sound engine enabling directional sound entrys. I wont be tinkering with fsx stuff for a little while yet....

It's nothing to do with payload and fuel or realism settings or brakes. I don't think it had anything to do with feathered props but it turns like I've got the left brake on and like I've only got the right engine revved up. I'll try tomorrow to see what happens.

Someone should really make the horn button work on the airbuses. Its the black one on the overhead panel to the left.

What you need is DXTbmp. It turns photo files into fs compatible files. When you save in Photoshop(or whatever you're using) make sure you save it as an extended bitmap. Otherwise it will be all blurry. When saving again through DXTbmp once again bitmap. Then it is just experimental with what you like. Some don't work e.g. DXT1 might not work but Extended 16bit 333 might. Here is where you can get DXTbmp Good luck I want to see some screenies of that beautiful repaint!!!

Nice one Charl - see you have a personalised scheme (a derivative of the Jaguar scheme?) already! :thumbup: (Edit: whoops should of read your first post more carefully - you do mention the personalised scheme) There seems to be an increasing number of Dreamfleet Barons around here. This may sound weird, but that paint scheme is actually the default FS Baron reverse-engineered onto the Dreamfleet version, and then tweaked. And of course I forgot to mention the astonishing Towerguy tour which subliminally added glamour to the aircraft. Mercifully he didn't crash it in the jungles of...

default FSX does not come with one, Install FSUIPC and that will make one.

When I was using FS9 I tried to remove the light and I deleated all the lights and it was still there. Could it be a model problem ??

I'd say do it, but probably have all of them in one package ;)

All I can remember is Meljet's B777. The custom Sony PS2 has a playstation at every seat :D Also, the Captainsim B757 and PMDG 1900d both have them.

I HATE when this happens, this is one of the things that made people like Mike Stone give it up. On a lighter note I remember when I first got FS9 way back in 03 and was on flighsim.com looking for a good aircraft and found a Metroliner III by some random guy named Jon Murchison. I then installed the Metroliner and WOW the first real aircraft I ever had, then I found the old ARNZ site and another big WOW Good on ya Jon :thumbup: :thumbup:

I require help with GIMP repainting.

How can I repaint. The demo for Photoshop is to big. What can I use to repaint? Can I do it on Default Paint?

Frank , the cheatline blue on the MAAM paint is the early pre74 light blue , unother paint could be redone to bring more in line with the final scheme .

She is a nice aircraft but the flightsim version doesn't have an ADF on the panel which I always found very frustrating... But with GPS everything is possible... enjoy!
