this wouldent have appened if it werent for BSMP Really? Why? BTW, I just happened to download the SP this afternoon after surfing the Posky website to find the BBJ- I had no idea it was new :o I'm yet to take it for a spin- whats a good route to test it on? Long story but I basicly started one after seeing so many "we are never going to do an SP" message in the Posky forums and long story short Hiroshi couldent handle it so he decided to do it after all. All things considered I shouldent of previewed it at all wich I dont anymore.

I updated my Handbook today, adding the Takeoff and Landing data to the inside-front cover, a checklist to the inside-back cover, and rules of thumb (e.g. working out top of descent) on the back cover. :D Still haven't fixed the Quick-find tabs yet though :o

Well it doesn't operate anymore. I forgot why but It was very important to Mount Cook Airline as it could land at Milford sound on days when the smaller aircraft couldn't. Such a pitty it doesn't fly anymore. (also are there any other DHC-6's flying in N.Z.?)

Thanks for your response, Bingobob. I was looking more at the 1900C exactly for those reasons. However I think I'm gonna wait and get something a bit more complex.

Hi Troly They served the RNZAF from 1976 to the mid nineties. Being RNZAF a/c they did not serve any routes as such but they did RNZAF duties in the Pacific (Fiji etc), Somalia, Australia, South East Asia, the Mid East (including Iraq in the early nineties) and Somalia. The Andovers (10 in total) were ex RAF and were based mainly at Whenuapai but there was a squadron also based at Ohakea for a time. 2 were VIP equiped. Cheers Paul

I highly recommend Samdim, his TU-114 in my opinion set a whole new level for freeware aircraft design. They are always well documented too which is important given how different the avionics often are from "western" aircraft.
