Hmmm, 19 dollars EACH, so to get both the standard and the ultimate you're talking 38. I have bought the "Ultimate" and already I am thinking I regret it. Oh, it flies OK, but on my PC and "out of the box" the ground steering is terrible, as are the rollouts on landing. The fligt model appears OK. It's enough, just, to keep me interested and want to try using this plane some more. First taste at landing (without an RTFM yet) was a nightmare - doesn't want to slow down easy... Tried spinning and stuff. Seems like it will be possible. Vertical stall turn is not...

Also HZJ is being upgraded to a AS350B2 Im unsure if it is still in Ardmore or whether it is back in NZAP Thats the reason HNL was being used for the Medical Lift when I saw it!

That MD500E Customized is just the best!.The sound by Jordan Moore is just so real.1st Helo I've flown where the engine note goes up and down with the collective. And a tweaked flight model too is so touchy just like the real thing,a must have. Hey Codge I downloaded it the other night and it is great but the other machine I found just as good but not better is the Bell 212 I was trialing a few GPS Approaches and the engine whines when you close the throttle it added that extra bit of realism to it all

Cant remember exactly where i got em all from, but its from the 4 usual main suspects, Avsim, Flightsim, Simviation, Surclaro. I think one of them came from the now sadly gone fsFreeware. Search for the following file names............. nz327vl.zip Green/Blue Air New Zealand Livery (Koru Tail) nacanz.zip Red/Orange Air New Zealand Livery (Koru Tail) Red/Orange N.A.C. "Wings of the Nation" Livery (Godwit Tail) nac_b737-200.zip National Airways Early Blue/Red/White Livery (Godwit Tail) All are done on Eric Cantu's excellent B737-200 model. If youre into NZ commercial aircraft...

If you started a thread it could get quite messy and reading throw ppls messages trying to find useful links could be a bit painful? Yes a database were we could just enter the ac rego and have it display it , or a airline searching thingy. :P James B)

Good idea Charl , especially at Wanaka , had a go in formation with Heath Wells and Jason Hunt - would require practice time , ... Lotta fun ,be funny to create a Roaring Forty Aerobatic Virtual team with the Spitty :)

Hi Ian. Thanks very much for your efforts. Only whenever you can find the time though, no rush, i am a patient man (most of the time lol ). I will look forward to the finished results very much for both the Dash-7 and the Carvair. The Carvair that I am using is Jon Walton's one. Now all i need is Fletcher Topdresser in "James Aviation" livery for Hamilton......................... Cheers, Lawrie.

thats really good, i to are doing one for it only got it lastnight have to say it looks like a NH90 just without the sharp edges and from what every one saying about the merlin it is a very nice helicopter to fly ive been at it all day after buying also RNZ tauranga and rotorua this morning the helicopter to most helos out there handles like a big boat but that is only my opinon still i fly at realisum highest setting back one 99% and no dead zone so this makes it far more realistic and totally far easyier to handle once you get it . well nice re paint ill still finish mine i think and see...
