I found this aircraft and this project very interesting. Combine an Allison turbine with the C206 is a win-win.

I just installed a couple of the aeroplanes off that site with no big dramas. The Sea Venom has some night texture issues but is fine during the day.

QUOTE (Splitpin @ Jan 5 2015,7:36 PM) Your right , the Wigram one would be a great reference point , its the same as the day it flew in there. Just a pity its packed in so tight at the mo ... hangers filled with earthquake savings ... and was one this morning

I have a great photo of one earlier XP-47J flying out, it was the development version of the 70 the unique thing with the photo, appears the pilot is reaching up to pull the canopy closed .. maybe it jammed ? .. the early one was quicker at 507 mph with 2800hp engine were this with its 3450hp engine was 17 mph slower .. impressive looking machines. /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif />

QUOTE (Olderndirt @ Dec 30 2014,6:33 AM) Received and downloaded - screenie shortly. The paint done by David 'Dax' Sweetman is superb, done from RNZAF paint plans I received from Barf from the Wigram paint archives, Dave is aircrew on the type in the RAF, I see if I can get it working with the Captains ACE.

QUOTE (K5054NZ @ Dec 19 2014,4:13 PM) Looks nice, but MAN is that fabric loose!!! I have a great photo in the Hurricane manual with the sun at the right angle it give almost the same impression, the early Hurricane had both the main-wing and tail wing fabric later models this change to only have fabric elevators /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

QUOTE (captsl4 @ Dec 8 2014,2:45 AM) i was just querying that you mentioned in the post i quoted that ftx ai pack has the new fern livery for 777 Gotcha, Yeah it's definitely in there as a texture on the AI model, to be honest though I haven't seen it in the sim, am assuming its scheduled and I just happen to have not been on the ground at the right time. Could decompile the BGL file and see if it is scheduled but I'd say it is.

Ill have to have a dig through the hard drives and find some photos and vids of its time in service cheers, only thing to be picky about is that the tail was white when I flew her

QUOTE (Nosecone @ Nov 29 2014,7:20 AM) Is there anyway even with the default helicopters to start so the blades slowly build up to full. One thing Nick 'Choppernut' mentioned was the default EH101 had the best start-up with the rotor , that was when FSX was first released.

Dont worry about it now ..... i think it maybe a dodgy thing , maybe ripped off from Abacus . Found a few remarks like this " this is starting to look like an illegal copy is more than enough reason for me to say good riddance to it. If the issues straighten out and it is found to be a legit copy, I may re-install it at that time but something just doesn't feel right here as it stands." The author is a dude called Tolga Pilskin .... who did work for abacus , so if its not free , and i cant buy it (standalone) then forget it.

QUOTE (cowpatz @ Nov 24 2014,1:26 PM) Graphically the PMDG may be ahead but I really like the FDE with th iFly product. It's really good. This maybe the choice for both types with the smaller PC... ie: laptop and since you did drive the big buggers that is a superb recommendation /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Nov 20 2014,4:12 PM) The big thing is, there is Soooo much out there, little files get lost, course reading this you see people have all these little tricks they do to get a paint/file running - same with scenery. Yes indeed Ian .... a great knowledge base we have here . Again .... thanks for all your input.
