Poor old Japanese did'nt have a chance once the US steamroller got going with their new aircraft designs , the Tigercat alone but look at the Ventura/Harpoon replacement the Neptune .... even the Vertura with its uncanny way of it to shoot its way out off trouble with even a well known attack by nine Zeros .... but in the European theater lucky 487 had the Mosquito replace em after loosing an entire flight of the early Venturas .

I guessing your using GIMP? .. should not be any reason why you cannot adjust textures to suit .

Just the way the textures are mapped in the model. Jordan Moore's Bell 412 makes a pretty good replacement for the 222 though.
