QUOTE (sundayflyer @ Jan 8 2008, 06:02 PM) Hello Fellow Simmers, FS9 I have decided to try and run Snowman's excellent airport sceneries for NZ. I have downloaded and installed all the libraries and associated files as suggested by Snowman for NZPM. Opening FS9 at NZPM all the scenery looks find, everything in its right place. When I change the view to outside the aircraft and zoom back or make any sudden movements the scene does a blip.......... and the textures go blurry which also includes the textures of any AI aircraft that might be nearby. Taxi around the airport inside...

QUOTE (PiperDriver @ Aug 29 2008, 11:38 AM) That site has been shut down. the file is over @ flightsim.com The 3 MAIN Runway-12 Object sets are also at avsim.com, along with all the standalone Rwy-12 object sets. Some of my early sceneries have a link to them in the INSTALL instructions. As i said in my previous post,.... i no longer use the Runway-12 Object Placer, or the Runway-12 Object sets. I only use EZ Scenery these days. Lawrie. /New_Zealand_etc.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= >nzflag< border= 0 alt= New_Zealand_etc.gif />

I think there are a couple other Flattens to make for your scenery. Not sure which though /unsure.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= unsure.gif />

QUOTE (PacificBlue @ Aug 15 2008, 12:34 AM) Hi Guys, This is my first post, I'm hoping you guys may be able to help out a bit, I'm looking at adding the Air Freight NZ convairs to my sim but need to know some 'rough' flightplans for them. It seems the flightplan section of their website requires registration and I didn't really want to go that far for just a FS project. So if somebody is aware of when and where they go along with some flight numbers/callsigns they use it would be much appreciated. Same applies for the Airworks Fokker and 737-200. And if im not...

QUOTE (cowpatz @ Aug 4 2008, 03:54 PM) No problems Lawrie, I think that NZKT is OK. The problem comes when constructing RNAV approaches that basically aim at the threshold. If the thresholds are wrong then it puts the whole approach out as the initial approach fixes are correct and the thresholds are not. Incorrect distances can play all sorts of havoc as well as the problems of popping out of an approach somewhere to find no runway or at least not where you expect it. I am also having trouble with North Shore airfield NZNE in Auckland 2005. I can alter the AFCAD to reflect the...

QUOTE (RPN @ Jul 20 2008, 05:51 PM) I reinstalled the updates and all appears OK. The little blips on the skyline (flying saucers) may be missing textures? Richard I think what you are seeing is the very outside edges of the transparent part of the texture surrounding the tree itself. QUOTE (Warren @ Jul 20 2008, 07:58 PM) A week or two ago I installed Hastings scenery by Godfrey Tier and was very happy with it, However when I went to go sight seeing in a helicopter, the chopper immediately wanted to fly nose down all the time. I changed to another helo and the same thing happened. Up until I installed Oamaru, the problem persisted. I installed Oamaru and the problem is now gone. Bit like magic, really. All I can say is that I think you are a genius, Lawrie. Thanks a lot and the scenery is as great as usual. /clapping.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid=...

QUOTE (Snowman @ Jun 28 2008, 01:01 AM) Well,.... if little 'ole New Zealand suits you just fine ,...... theres plenty to choose from on Avsim....... Lawrie. /New_Zealand_etc.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= >nzflag< border= 0 alt= New_Zealand_etc.gif /> There certainly is plenty to choose from, However I do like to be cautious. I have just finished doing laps around Touho in a chopper. I have all my sliders maxed so I get all the trees etc. Just great scenery. I look forward to future works. Many thanks.

Just tried Whangarei with similar results. It must be the fences. I have taken all of them out but I will try putting back the non-chain link fences and see what happens.

QUOTE (ZL2BMH @ Jun 21 2008, 10:37 PM) I'm a Stratfordeite, and have been for over 60 odd yrs, I've made untold visits to the 'drome' and can say I'm absolutely proud of the job done by Lawrie, it's Straford to a tee and the job done on Mt Egmont/Taranki is quite brilliant. Thanks Lawrie. Jim. Thank you very much Jim, for the kind words on my simple scenery. I did as best as i could with the limited information i had,......... an AIP Chart, a couple of small grainy photo's, and a pencil sketch done from memory by a friend. Needless to say, the buildings in...

Lawries cockpit shots of the ATR above are actually of the photo 2d views - the VC is very good though - one of the best - actually the model is one of the best for FS9 full stop IMO.
