Milford Sound to Manapouri QUOTE Manapouri is a small town in Southland / Fiordland, in the southwest corner of the South Island of New Zealand. It is at the edge of Fiordland National Park on the eastern shore of Lake Manapouri, close to its outflow into the Waiau River. A tourist boat service operates from the town. Early morning start: I look tiny from the control tower: The next leg will be the last! We're nearly there!

QUOTE (ranm @ Feb 12 2008, 09:24 PM) Charl, What was your blurry medicine? - any tips and tricks for eliminating/reducing them based on your thorough NZ flyover? Cheers - Ran I pulled out stuff to do with fences - sometimes my rig gives shimmers for these also. Look for files like these, and rename them with a .bak extension, put them back one by one in the scenery folders to taste. E.g. NZWT Whitianga\Scenery\NZWT_MshFce.bak NZDA Dargaville\Scenery\DA_FrmFce.bak and so on. Don't forget to add a blank texture folder if the scenery doesn't have one. QUOTE...

Hi I can understand where you're coming from - I have 3 teenagers and trying to juggle family with work and a wife that is off work with a ruptured disk in her back kind of puts a crimp in the flight simming for sure. As some of the others have said here - take a break, you will come back stronger and we will still be here to follow your exploits - I am not one that posts a lot but I do enjoy following along - so we will not bail out on you. Try different aircraft if thats what you want to do, the main rule in simming is that there are no rules - it's your tour so you can make the...

QUOTE (K5054NZ @ Jan 7 2008, 03:22 PM) I'd dearly LOVE a teardrop XIV! In my opinion a teardrop canopy really makes a XIV something interesting. Not a fan AT ALL of the highback ones :poo: YIP , Tims old 14 , or even the 16LF on the stick outside NZCH , found the site , closed down :(

QUOTE (Naki @ Dec 28 2007, 03:29 AM) Nice shots - the FSX Caravan VC looks nice (better than Feeltheres FS add on one for FS 9 add ). Is the Waiheke/Thames scenery part of FSX or something you have added? I think you might have your screenies a bit muddled as you are touching down in Rotorua not Tauranga. Ooops sorry bout that, using scott's thames addon and waiheke add on thats available on avsim
