Yes, it's that time of the year again, that explains what went over Banks Peninsula yesterday, but I was tied up at the time so didn't get outside... the view out the front of my place is kind of a poor man's airshow when everything's on it's way to the airshow.

Twas the same with me growing up in the Wigram area right from dot one .. Harvards Devons Daks Vampires Strikemasters and Bristol Freighters and even a regular visit from the RAAF Caribou .. part and parcel but unfortunate some dull eye'd dipstick called it a day and killed it .

Since the "Wobbulator' (I will be bark) Returned - arrived this afternoon I had a chance to speak the about these attachment loops with my neighbour Graham, I mention the possibles , he will check it out , he now only dose the paper work for 'Tiger' airlines and the ARBUSTS , Lindstrim you might be right .. one thing he did say and this is an OSH thing , nightly cleaning and engineering checks requires one to be tied to the aircraft , whether they serve two purposes Graham check up tomorrow for us . PS: He Loves my ARBUST/S joke, completely agrees with me and even today the engineer...

Marty I have a DVD 'ICE' about the the LCs and one was about veteran commander and this was in Christchurch and yes it was done going back to 2003/04 season .. Wouldn't mind seeing that Ian ... i saw at least 3 of them heading south today. Great DVD .. it cover the NYAG and the Polar and Antarctic missions, mission and command.

Hornets at eye level, eh? You can bet they know all eyes are on them, and will put a little extra swagger into the manoeuvres. Extra "g" too - the live fire box is quite tight (10km across?). Go early, we'll be watching this space!
