Great shots SP. I have a question though.. why would an A320 pilot move from A320 to the 767 when retirement for that aircraft must be looming by now? So he/she can move to 787 eventually? I'm surprised at the move considering how strong the A320 fleet is now with ANZ. More money for starters. Also the increasing amount of domestic flying on the A320 is not everybody's cup of tea. Sometimes just a change of office.

I rather like the A380 touchdown shot. You get the same kind of thing happening at sea, a jetski passing a ferry and perhaps an oil tanker in the background: they all float. Well these all fly, and there are people inside!

Something to photograph? USAF Dornier C146A Wolfhounds! I like how the USAF puts a designation for a 328 , I check out one at Wagga Wagga , the aircraft was on its debut world tour 20 years back, it was in Doriner company colours , there was talk off it going to pure jet , don't think that took off so well.

It was weird looking at the old Millers building or was Council building , it really looked like something out off a war movie , I had to go across to Burwood hospital on the bus so a good opportunity to look it was a weird sensation then of the return trip seeing the angles some of the building were was amazing.

The RL SOFIA just shows how good that POSKY model is, (and don't forget, it is really an FS2004 one) True Mike , and i wont forget . These guys were turning out free stuff equal to some of the " best " payware people , years ago. These payware people , have found a way to feed on the needs of those who have the "as real as it gets " fever ...... and good on them ..... But, for me at least , after considerable study, there is enough free stuff out there to keep me happy (visually) for years to come.

*Starts singing for Sofia* That is one aircraft I'd really want to do a walk around and climb inside the fiddly bits especially the lens door, with the US and German flag painted on the hull be nice to see the NZ flag on there if only for our interest. You stay away from those "fiddly bits " .... i thought the MC would have been more your style Ian :ph43r: ... Hmm the secret nature of a NASA 747 puts me into the let s .. wanta have a look mode :ph43r:

Heading in and out of CHC in the next couple of days. I take it these are on the road to the fire station? On the southern side of 11/29? Yes i think it is , they wait there for hours to get shots of specific a/c ..... then walk to the other end ...and back. They are well known in the area  I was out there one day with one of them (near the fire station) watching SQ pass .... i couldn't believe it when the giant thing almost stopped , and both flight crew gave jono a thumbs up .
