QUOTE (Charl @ Aug 9 2013,10:42 AM) On the A380 there are several camera views available to the IFE system. I love the nosecam view; and on the last flight missed most of Die Hard 3 because of it! I've seen the Cam's on some aircraft .. Die Hard 3 .. ole Brucey 'BUGGER" .. could you imagine me wrapped around the tail just to get the views ... "the vistas" for the yups yelling like 'Lucy Lawless' Lalalalalalalalala /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> hang on fellas !

QUOTE (Yob @ Jul 13 2013,11:44 PM) Nice, you must tell us more. First you unlatch the door , roll it around till it clipped on , /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> the rest was easy the pallets were already pre-labled and weighted to suit rolling the pallets in , i did this for free , the regular loadmaster OK'd me whiles he took a few days off .

QUOTE (kiwi @ Jul 5 2013,9:20 PM) I fell in love with this one. Would be even better with the fern on it though. I think it looks a bit naked! Does anyone have an idea about the winglet size? These look pretty small. It's like watching a t-rex trying to open a can. Brilliant pictures :> About 2.4 mtrs.

Love the video- that Thompsonfly 757 with winglets looks awesome! Weird seeing the A320's fitted with CFM56 engines too, we don't get those down here. Odd looking reversers!

QUOTE (FlyingKiwi @ Apr 3 2013,10:43 AM) I believe the flags are often deliberately painted back to front on the right hand side to symbolise the flag "blowing in the wind" (i.e. if it was a real flag it would be reversed on one side). A lot of airlines in the USA do this. Yes this is standard convention. Even the NZ flag on AirNZ planes will be the same.

QUOTE (dbcunnz @ Apr 1 2013,3:50 PM) We had a scanner here listening to the control and pilot chat which was almost as interesting as the airshow itself with saying like in the final fly over " Anson can you quickly move over to your left as you are to slow and the rest are fast catching you up" another just after the show had finished a spitfire just airborne from Omaka Woodbourne tower "Spitfire just departing Omaka can you please clear the area to the west as fast as you can" Spitfire "how bloody fast do you want me to go this is a Spitfire and I am...
