QUOTE (Naki @ Oct 6 2010, 10:04 AM) Was wtaching the soccer most of the time..its my oldests (9 year olds) soccer team ..I'm the team manager. The first time I have seen a A380 and then another flew over the day after just a few minutes after an Emirates 777 flew over ...Emirates must have a lot of capacity across the Tasman! Cool snaps Paul, thanks for sharing. From what I've heard, Emirates main reason for bringing their heavy metal over from Sydney is because its cheaper to operate them to Auckland and back than have them sitting on the tarmac at YSSY. Pretty sure they...

QUOTE (AndrewJamez @ Nov 2 2010, 05:09 PM) "Instead, fly the club all-ali two seater for $90 an hour." Do you mean the little composite storch that SAC operate or is there somthing else there to fly now? I have a rating in that plane but its been 1 year scince my last flight. Money is tight at the mo. Its ok though, you get 5 years absense before you have to retrain completely. They fly in Whangarei. I suspect it's a Tecnam low-wing. I'm looking at single-seat / removable wing ideas... in my spare time!!!

Love that dak, only dak we see around here don't fly /dry.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= <_< border= 0 alt= dry.gif /> Bit of info on the BBJ:-- Jack Prewitt & Associates (aircraft brokers) acquired this BBJ in January 2008 as N888NB re-registered as VP-BJJ, a month later Avenir Worldwide (Bermuda) Ltd part of The Avnir Group acquired and still operate it. (according to research that is)

QUOTE (pilotgallagher01 @ Sep 28 2010, 11:53 PM) Cool Pics Splitpin, Looks wicked day for it which is about bloody time! So they still have a few places to get some good plane spotting done at christchurch even now they removed the outside viewing area off the terminal? The Viewing deck is still there /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> And yeah, you get good views from the CAC balcony of the whole terminal and all runways:) Also, mint pics splitpin! We have been stealing the good weather lately=)
