For its day the Albatros would have been an aircraft from the future , the propeller hub , smooth contoured fuselage , the one thing that makes these photo's so original is simply the coulour , if you study photos from your WW1 encyclopedia 's it gives you a different perspective , the art off photography . Brilliant Photos !

Well at the end it was hectic, because we found a cheap Cathay Pacific Business Class fare from TPE-SIN for only $400 AUD. 'Milage Run' as they call it. Didn't overnight in Penang, was a cheapy Air Asia flight. Hated it. Hated Malaysia in general- dirty, smelly and we got ripped off. Never again. My Favourite was Singapore. So clean; a 'fine' city haha. Lots of attractions, and great food. Hong Kong was also well worth the visit. Nothing like anywhere else I've been in Asia. Going in the cockpit was awesome. Two Aussies and an Asian as pilots, was good fun. Ben

Nice photos, there's usually quite a lot of aircraft to be seen at Taupo, it's well worth stopping by the airport when you're in town.

QUOTE (Daniel @ Nov 30 2009, 12:06 PM) Nice shots Pete /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> Was this the northern Flying NZ competitions? I went a long as a photo observer - I'm sure it was the NZ Aerobatic Club. They had marked a box out across the paddocks and Marinka Hood arrived as "Chief Judge". As the Nationals are at Waikpukarau mid year and the Brian Langley Trophey in North Shore around Feb, it was a chance for a judged get-together. I was hoping to take some aerial shots but playing / stick-time was more...
