You may well be right Greg , and I do apologize for the mini rant . The first version of P3D I installed was V2 . Don't have time for the sim at the moment , so i will catch up when i have time.

Even if P3D V4 came out at the start of the US summer it would probably take at least until the end of the year to iron out the inevitable bugs and hardware issues. Of course Pete Dowson (FSUIPC) will most likely be away on holiday at release time as well :) Some proactive aircraft and scenery developers, that have access to the V4 beta, will have new versions available but there may or may not be a cost to the user. even current versions of P3D may not run what you have, especially if it's origins hark back to FS9. I would suggest stay with what you have and wait for a stable V4 to...

At the moment I have found many WIN OS mucking around , it may not be the program, currently for example even my signature is not showing and that is on every one of the sites I visit .

If you don`t want to continue with FSX Gold, when you remove it, why not re- install Steam on your SSD . It`s much faster and you should get a better performance than you will on an ordinary Hard Drive. I know that when I changed over to an SSD my loading time and performance for FSX shot up quite substantially. As I said previously, I installed Steam on a portable HD and whilst the performance is okay the loading time is pretty slow. Just a suggestion only, for you to consider .

I got my copy of Accel installed finally, and some scenery in, but now i cant add more, i select it, and go to click add, and it won't go further grrrrrr Sounds like the bug which appeared in Windows 7, and has been a pest ever since. Easy enough to overcome, though, when you click 'ok' to add the airport, the folder will open, just click any BLANK area within the folder white space. Thanks for that Rob, it works!!! Hayden
