I would have gone the usb headset route myself bar the fact my saitek pro flight headset was already wired/cables/tidlied up with my TR5 so the little plug n play usb dongle was the cheapest/most effective scenario with me AND I can just have it tucked behind my monitor for ease of access as my PC box is about 2 metres away from my desk seat AND I couldn't really find a USB headset that was quiet as sexy as my proflight set (though razer do have a similar set out nowadaze - though 149 vs 30 bucks was a bit of a no brainer for me) picked it up for bout 30 bucks from PBTech in a sale. I...

QUOTE (rocky289 @ Jul 12 2013,11:04 AM) Have you tried using the TurboV Evo in the bios setup Hi there. Yes I use the Turbo tool for trialling but much prefer setting directly into BIOS. I have to admit to simply getting a bit impatient as theres alot on the plate and was hoping someone may have their settings to share. Am keen to hear experiences of overclocking GTX EVGA 580....tad unrealistic maybe? I just dunno these days Lol

QUOTE (deeknow @ Jul 3 2013,7:39 PM) Sweet find. Nice having that compatibility checker as a first check huh. Yeah and it even provides a guide as to what the suggested overall power consumption will be too. Only thing I could not find was a direct link to reviews of components. A bewildering selection of parts when it is all laid out. Just take a look at memory options! Phew.

Before a complete uninstall You could try making a scenery file call Queenstown with scenery/texture folders inside and copy the four ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZQN files they only small and that should kick-start it , just simply do a add scenery .

QUOTE (cowpatz @ Jun 10 2013,4:07 PM) Just one in a long list of sites as to how Windows 8 accelerated the decline. Exactly .. no mention of the home use of a computer and what its best used for ... you cannot do the most simple scenery build "AGNs" on a flop/top i/pad or what ever , .. and here' the blast .. for Flight Simulation they did not have the insight .. more the fore-sight , WIN8 is is just a progression .. Strange i went to the 1997 pre release of Win98 at the Christchurch Town Hall Convention Center .. all the Hype .. USB pluggins and jibber , many .. Well...

QUOTE (spongebob206 @ Jun 3 2013,12:07 PM) Good to hear. Is the triplehead better for running FSX than the 680 alone? I haven't tried running it without the triplehead2Go but it certainly works fine with it

QUOTE (deeknow @ May 22 2013,11:50 PM) Ah the old " installed a WOAI package twice " problem, its a pain, but the only way out really is to edit the aircraft.cfg files for the AI models affected and remove the duplicates. This is what I feared, honestly I don't have much of a problem sitting down for a day and going through every aircraft.cfg file and renaming things....the problem is when I've googled the problem before, it appears I also need to change the names in the aiflightplans to exactly what they are in the aircraft.cfg. I'll try what Stewart said...
