hahahahaha everyone has them Andrew but your idea is good, i wouldn't be able to use a throttle quadrant as a collective without doing what you said to do. i use a logitech xtreme 3d pro and thats good enough for me but i dont have a proper set-up, im just sitting on a beach chair with the laptop on a coffee table in the lounge room, so i wouldn't be able use rudder pedals

To explain my Rig I'm using Win7 64 Bit with four monitors. I can't show any photos because I'm away from home on business at the moment until next week. Nothing fancy as far as software just lots of grunt hardware: 2 NVidia GFX cards -GTX590 and GTX295. (Not in SLI since 295 uses different chipset) 1 x 23" Samsung LED as main monitor, 2 x Samsung 22" as left and right and a Phillips 19" sitting in front for panel. I was running this with 295 as main and GTX8800 as second card but that was a slide show. Upgraded to 590 and saw a great increase in FPS... FSX CPU...

Thanks Timmo, I put the bmp into the effects texture folder. It looks really good. I only discovered NZWK yesterday........ It is much better than the default................ that I have been using /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> I will get some AI visiting it now. You have a newer version in the works? Look forward to that. Although this rendition you have to admit is excellent. Cheers.

Current mother board which as an asus P5QPL-AM can support Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad CPUs, At the moment the P4 dual aren't to bad and I'm getting about 12-20 fps with sliders up high. The 7600 is now 5 years of age so its due for an upgrade . I am going to build a better PC for my helicopter simulator but that will be some time off. Rhys

I'll try and help but its been sometime since I ran two monitors as I now use a TH2GO as well...... When I did run just the 2 monitors I would start in 'windowed' mode and undock the views I wanted. I then positioned them where I wanted them on the two screens and would then go back into 'full-screen' mode - this would then expand those views into the entire screen. However, I only ever used a forward view on one monitor and a 2d instrument view on the second - so I'm unsure if this method works for two outside views..........

Glad you're sorted...I did a System Restore this morning, and I see all these orphan aircraft folders, too. Luckily I back up fairly regularly to an external drive, and so just plop them back in.

I feel your pain... More than likely it was an FS9-FSX conversion (MAAM DC-3 or the C-46), but I'm not entirely sure. You might have to do the same as I did. Send me your email address and I send through the effect folder (about 3MB). You just have to copy it, and overwrite everything when Windows asks you. Do you have acceleration?
