The site is up and running now, apparently they had a power cut: Servers down. A Sudden power cut at our hosting company caused a major boot problem for our servers this morning. All OK now and apologies for the downtime. Good to see that was all it was. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Latest on the Sandy Bridge saga.......seems like Intel got onto the problem fast, and the revised motherboards will soon be in the shops, so they appear to have fixed the problem. I have now taken the plunge again, having had the original order cancelled due to the problems, so I am now waiting on the components for a new system based on the Sandy Bridge processors. I7 2500K + motherboard, MSI 560 graphics card + Corsair cooler. It will be interesting to see how it all works!! smooth landings.

Got it working again, there is a scenery file in Addon Scenery that is throwing it out of whack. I'm not sure which file it is, but I have nothing for the Auckland area in addon scenery so it is simply a matter of un-checking that scenery area in the library. Always helps if you remember to re-check it before you get home as well! /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif />

QUOTE (deeknow @ Feb 12 2011, 07:50 PM) Have you added any new AI packs, or maybe scenery recently?, I'd be tempted to disable those one at a time and see if it sorts the AI out Thanks Dean - Have recently added VOZ Sydney which may have caused the problem

I tried installing this again after installing W7, couldn't get it to work the same, missing guages, and I had the same issue you had but went away after a while thought still couldn't get all the gauges and features to work.

QUOTE (connor @ Jan 27 2011, 01:58 PM) The dilemma I am facing is that I am running WOAI (yes I know it was designed for FS9), and several traffic plans I have dreamed up myself (Canterbury aero club and the likes). Problem is though, all traffic, GA included always use runway 2 and 20 which turns into a lot of go-arounds when the aero club start practicing touch and go's on the main runway. Is there any practicle way to make the GA traffic use runway 2 left and runway 20 right instead of 2 and 20? Hey Connor. Not sure about the runways, but just in case you dont know, even tho...

QUOTE (Adamski @ Jan 12 2011, 12:53 PM) Great to hear you're sorted! I've run my fsx.cfg through the venetubo site a few times and I think it's helped my fps a bit, though I'm a bit dubious about some of the advice it gives. For instance: DX10 preview is often claimed (by others) to actually improve frame rates. It also looks *much* better (take a look at how it renders water). Also, some scenery - particularly mountainous areas (like a lot of NZ) can look awfully flat and washed out with shadows turned off. However - I think the external FPS limiter does seem to...

Hi Stewart, Pleased that it solved your drama as well... As a non-technical type, this must be the first time I've ever been able to suggest something useful here....... /clapping.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= clapping.gif />
