i personally think ntune is cr@p /wink.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :wink2: border= 0 alt= wink.gif /> But by all means go for it. Read up about it first so you dont go overboard and break something. I personally think that overclocking via ntune isnt that good, and can be unstable if you really push the limits, and prefer the conventional bios method. Just remember to do your homework before you start and you should be fine If something blows up its not my fault /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif />

QUOTE (Adamski @ Jan 1 2010, 10:47 PM) What O/S are you using? I upgraded my loathsome Vista to 64-bit Win7. Whilst FSX is definitely NOT 64-bit, the whole system runs *much* faster. FSX itself is faster as well, but then I cleaned it up a lot on re-installing. Would you be getting rid of that 8800? I have the same card, but my brother's PC is about to die on him (HD errors everywhere) so he'll be up for an upgrade soon. QUOTE (Timmo @ Dec 18 2009, 07:57 PM) Im not sure of the technical details but FSX serves a lot of things by default using the Simconnect API- This allows you to control, for example, an aircraft from an external program by sending the commands (this is default by the way, I don't think you need a FSUIPC type addon module) See here (that is for ESP the commercial version of FSX- The SDK is 99% the same) Thanks, I see why the tools out there changed, the guys where using VB on a FSUIPC COM bridge, and now the COM has moved to dotNet... old tools all died unless the FSUIPC guy has...

The author, Francisco Augusto Vargas Carneiro, is Brazilian. Yep; NZUpdate really messes around with NZ sceneries. If you want thermals in FS9, best bet is to do them manually with Peter Lürkens' Cumulus! programme.

Just a quick note in this thread that I've uploaded some amended (FS9->FSX) textures for the Wilco A320 onto NZFSIM: Wilco A320 IAE - Air New Zealand - FSX

/rolleyes.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= rolleyes.gif /> Thanks everyone who provided some feedback........ I think I am now forced to do a complete new install as FSX.exe is no longer working and now comes up with an error message each time. I have sent the message to Microsoft so will see if they have an answer, but otherwise it looks like a new install. Thanks again....... /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif />

QUOTE (Bazza @ Dec 2 2009, 03:43 PM) At this stage, I'm also not very interested in the contents of the Acceleration pack either, and recall comments like yours in the past - one of the reasons I've asked for opinions. I already have the SP1 so may follow your steps, thanks for the input. /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> I used to have the full set of VATSIM multiplayer utils running on my old FSX (with Acceleration) but have yet to add them to my new (non-accelerated) FSX. I'll pop a note here if I get any multiplayer...

QUOTE (wairoaboy @ Nov 18 2009, 11:47 PM) Yes I agree...its a real beaut having windows 7. Vista 32bit wasnt too bad on this Toshiba running 4gbRam and ATI X11 1gb dedicated but windows 7 has increased Windows Performance rating from 5.0 to 5.4! Would recomend to anyone contemplating upgrade I'm a week or so further down the line - and have gradually re-introduced some of my payware stuff. Much of my experimental freeware add-ons I'll leave off, I think - as things seem to be so *smooth* at the moment. As far as Win7 goes, it just seems to inspire confidence. Not a very...
