I don't think you can change the volume in the cfg file. The volume will be set by the wav file in this case it should be named saab24.wav How you adjust the volume of a wav I don't know. I guess its down to the level its recorded, but i'm sure you can find a way to do it. Deane

I finally found out what the problem was with the add-on scenery not updating when added: Windows Vista has a feature called "User Account Control" that if it's active will not let the newscenery.cfg overwrite the scenery.cfg file when you exit FS2004 (nor will it let you rename or save an edited version of any file for that matter). running FSX on an external wouldnt increase performance.... maybe im missing what your saying but running on an external means passing it through USB which seriously damages its write/read speeds. i have a laptop and a puter so i dont use partition much but i do like to keep a partition on my laptop hdd around 150gb for storing my movies/pictures so they can be easily accessed by family if needed....
