Wow, that would be really great to see, worth making the trip just for that - I'm especially disappointed I'm unlikely to be going this year.

I think they only put "destroyed" if it has been totally obliterated, because I've noticed in the past they often put "serious" rather than "written-off" even when it's obvious that there isn't any chance of the aircraft being repaired. Seems to make the definition of "write off" slightly redundant though.

You guys are correct, that dragonfly is a beast. Was upsetting the circuit pattern for the novice ones, they had to wait a while due wake turbulence lol It's owned by the Classic Aircraft trust and sits in the new hangar at the classic flyers musuem

I did'nt no that ! 737 not able to dump fuel , what you say would make sense with Wellys wide weather and course engineering .

parting is such sweet sorrow /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> many a flight taken on the 400, probably the majority of all my flights. now i gotta get some more in before they take them out of service. once we get warp speed and light speed (no idea which is faster) the 747's will finally be obsolete but untill then, long live the great 747

Ive been in ZK-AXI. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> It is such a beautiful aircraft. I'm glad that it has been keep in such great condition and that it is still flying today, many years after it was first manufactured.

I know. I wsa soooo lucky to be there at the right time too. Just as it was turing onto the runway. You could see it flying over for miles! Even turning towards Sydney (this was about 20km at least in the distance)
