The new class as im told is halfway between Micro light and GA and you will be able to train up to CLP in any aircraft in that class, which would be cool as some planes are classed as micro lights that are right on the edge between the 2 classes of aircraft. But i know that I would much rather train in the Sports Cruiser than the 152 after flying both the you cant compare them because the sports cruiser is so much nicer to fly.

I've just bought the PMDG MD-11 for FSX and I've noticed that the MD-11 has a ditching button as well on the RH side of the overhead panel. Boeing must be feeling abit left out. Trev

QUOTE (nzpilottoo @ Jan 28 2009, 07:04 PM) i have flown one of these, they are very nice, correct me if i am wrong but someone told me that these aircraft are classed as a microlight. True? Most are, some aren't such as the one in the photos above is a certified ga machine, P2002-JF. Not much different to the standard P2002 (which is microlite) except for a few guages, a carb heat and a few bolts and bars here and there. Hows this for crazy, you can fly the JF over built up areas but not the normal P2002....

QUOTE (beaufighterguy @ Jan 26 2009, 10:35 AM) Yes that's very well put but mig-29's would be awesome. Then the Americans would be like that's your free trade deal down the toilet /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> Mig 29s don't have the range. Eurofighters would be good. Hell, Gripens would be pretty damn good too - unprepared runway takeoff, reasonable range, fairly modern.

QUOTE (Peppermint @ Jan 20 2009, 03:14 PM) Well, it's normally pretty serious if they have to get a rescue chopper out anyway... Well to be honest that statement only holds a certain amount of truth in it mate not all rescues are because the patient is seriously injured some are due to location being inaccessible just like not all transfers are life and death.
