heh... 'Marine Insurance'... haahahahaha Have you ever tried to read the back of an Original Bill of Lading??? OMG.. there are about 4,000 clauses in 6pt font that can be basically summarised as: "All Care, No Responsibility" /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> Also, (fully loaded) containers that fall off ships, tend to 'float' a couple of feet below the surface... hence why they're so annoying, as they're really hard to see before you run them down! Empty containers on the other hand... well I assume they...

A mate recently flew to Fiji for 3 days to go to some Vodafone Conference he flew out on an Air Pacific 747 and when I asked what he came back on he said a 737 I couldn't help but crack up laughing considering when I went to AUS on the 737 it was bad enough but coming back on the A330 was far better IMHO although the air hostesses weren't as tasty hehehe. I'll just go find another dark corner to hide in lol. SQ350 "Chop Chop"

Yeah... the great thing about PDA phones... 3G web access /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> and the best part is that I don't pay for it! /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Finally made it back, looks like the ATC in oz are having a work to rule or something? Coz the inbound flight on fri, was held up for 20 to 30 minutes coming in to SYD... from working on the atrs, the differences between the two doors are quite big, the cargo door on the right is alot smaller, and hinges to the front, where as the rear passenger door on the left drops and acts as steps as well, the right hand door has the usual door opening marks ( how to operate the handle,) handle arrows and a red exit sign above the vent towards the middle of the door, hope this has shed a little light on to what is in the pics and if you need any more info, i might be able to help you out, espically on the likes of the metros, banderanties, saabs and ATRs Jason

I have heard that announcement of the ATR replacement has been delayed to late September - I also note that Bombardier are also due to make an anouncement in late September on launch orders for the C Class (I thought it was already launched but appears not) - I wonder if the delay has to do with waiting for the C Series launch and tacking a few C Series orders (to replace 7373) onto a Q400 order - get in early and get good prices like they did with the 787 - anyway just speculation. Then again they may get ATR-72-600s.............

Haha my Dad back in the early 1970s imported a RC helicopter from the UK in bits (to escape import taxes - a little package would arrive very few weeks) had the thing all assembled after a few months of assembly and waiting for packages to arrive - had very few decent flights in it - many rotor blades later and new canopy etc - it still hangs from the rafters in dad's model aeroplane shed. Very difficult to fly - I betcha the new ones are easier.

QUOTE (ZK-KAG @ Sep 4 2008, 12:39 PM) The AARO actually has nothing to with navaids, its purely a route identifier for ICAO IFR flight plans. Its the departure airport and the destination airport. Just to clear it up /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Yeah, I thought that as well, but it usually works, and (excuse) I wasn't really thinking /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />
