Alright then, a few more!!! First from Stockholm Bromma airport, which is usually very quiet. The frequent visitors there are BaE 146s on domestic services, plus a few from Brussels, and a few corporate jets. Lucky to capture this DC3 there. There is an old Caravelle parked at Stockholm Arlanda, note the wing fences which seem to have fallen out of fashion:- smooth landings.

I've had a play with it down at VA and it was awesome! They had it set up so I could see every VA plane and where it was, heading, alt speed, aircraft type, departure airport and arrival airport. It also showed every aircraft that either took off from, landed at or flew withing NZ. From what I've heard it's pretty expensive, especially for personal use.

mine, nah. its westpac rescue's. Big companys, not that i know of, they've had companys giving donations for it. There's a 17" LCD hiding in the panel and some simkits gauges and simkit radio panel. the reason the pics are so dark is that the hanger door was open. going back down in a few weeks to play with the REAL 412 pilots and have a blast round at night. Will take pics and vids then. to add: the collective, pedal and stick are the ORIGINAL for the chopper that have been tinkered with so they respond in fs.

If any aircraft use the maximum payload maybe it is so and the runways are a bit short. But on the other Side I think you can argument, that with the Brazilian shuttle from Sao Paulo Congonhas to Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont you can´t use all of the aircraft, that are actually there in use. - Boeing 737-300 - Boeing 737-700 - Fokker F. 100 - Airbus A 319 Look at the book and you can see, that the runways in Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont are only 4.364 and 4.156 ft long. Not enough for any of the aircraft... They use the fuel to reduce the weight and the payload is also not used to the...

QUOTE Hey FO Community, One of my Fraturnity brothers, Ray Barnes(Coopertop) he is a driver for the USN F/A-18C. Here is a real story from him on his Hornet mal. This isn't the type of ordnance I had in mind - F 18 malfunction - Brief Article - Statistical Data Included Approach, June, 2002 by Ray Barnes It was our first full fly day since departing the Persian Gulf after supporting Operation Southern Watch. We hadn't seen clouds in weeks, and the temperature finally had dropped into the 80s. I was looking forward to a 4 v X self-escort strike and a day trap. What could go wrong? The...

QUOTE (Trolly @ Oct 20 2007, 11:45 AM) Looks amazing- but doesn't it cost about 700 pounds an hour to keep it airbourne? Where did you see that ? I would say it would cost many many many times that amount, perhaps everybody donates everything. EDIT: After some reasearch I found that for the 20 min test flight it burned in excess of £1,000 of fuel. "It will cost an estimated £1.6 million a year to keep in the air and available for viewing by members of the public." So as a per hour number after all the fuel, maintiance, insurance and everything it would cost...

not really that much involved when you work it out 10000ft per min @ 6000 ft per nm = 1.67nm per min = 100kts you are going down at less than the speed of a C172 in the cruise. The stress is when you pull out and apply the G's. or hit a building!

here at work we are able to access the camera feeds from the airport company and in a good xwind it's amazing to set up the camera looking down the runway and zoom right in. The heavies fly the approach crabbed into the wind all the way to touchdown and don't straighten up until on the ground. 23L is especially good when the wind is about 270 and above about 20kts as you get the mechanical turb off the hangars - makes for some exciting viewing! just a pity we can't record it though.

Dont think so Ian. I reckon you would have to divide the panel into subpanels for something like the B36. I was dissapointed with alphasims one. Thought it could have been done far better.
