yes they do (see Jimmy's post for times) what happens is that they stamp your boarding pass with "DOMESTIC PASSENGER ON INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT". You still have to go through customs (though from memory they just waved us through) and MAF screening, so no South Island apples in Auckland  Well Nik, I stand corrected :P Sorry mate! ~ZK-KAG~ hmmmm. Next time I'm flying up AA way I might see if I can fix it to catch a 777 or 747 out of CH. Would be good fun I'm sure :D

Yes Ian. Very interesting pictures. I can see the Concorde was a regular visitor to NZ. I have to say that it's not the same with Denmark. I have heard of 2 visits in Copenhagen, one in Aarhus, one in Aalborg and one in Billund. It has also been in Greenland once. A single picture from Greenland:

The A319 is the same size (give or take a few seats) as the 737-700NG Well yea fair enough I was more thinkin of the 800 but ya still lookin at like 136 compaired to 149 give or take depending on which airline ya talk to. No doubt the 700 would be the best but cant see it happenin, look at the cost comparison and the deal that they can get on the A 319

...or even Mig29s/Su27s. It doesn't take much for Governments to change that and such things have happened before. That would actually be the coolest thing in New Zealand's history. (unfortunately the chances seem about as likely as a NZ moon expedition...)

I have the airlines to thank for learning how to drink tea ;) I distinctly remember the day... I was on a morning Qantas Link flight from YSSY to YPMQ (following a 7am flight from NZAA to YSSY which necessitated being at the airport at 5am which required me to drag my butt outta bed at like 4am!!!) and desperately in need of some stimulants... so I replied yes when the lovely lady asked if I wanted coffee... she looked a little surprised when she came back down the aisle 2 minutes later offering tea and I asked if I could swap <_< I now stick to water... or alcohol :ph43r:

That's pretty cool; I see -CIT quite regularly at Ardmore, must say it looks a fair sight more exciting than the venerable 172. :P
