Not at 15:30 but I did see WAC doing a lot of touch and gos around 13:00-14:00. Also some random comment about false teeth by them to the tower. There were a couple of guys stading on the seawall at about 1530ish with a camera on a tripod. I was takin WAC out to PM. Didnt hear the comments on the radio, that would have been about right though, the instructor on that day is crazy I think ;) I managed to get some photos of the TU154 before I started work today. Ill post them when I get home.

Indeed. Being that it is utilising much of the technology from the 787 (Interior, engines, systems) and a new more efficient wing but still retaining commonality with the 400. I wouldnt be surprised to see Air NZ look at a few if they dont go for the 777-300. Edit This is the latest order announcement for the 748

Awesome vids mate! Man I must make another visit to Wellington this year, and hopefully it will be windy as hell! Even the 733s work to land there, could hear the engines whining on short finals

what happens if you're describing a 737-700? 73G or 73W if it has winglets.

Well, it doesn't really determine anything we don't already know- a 172 is a 172, it flies the same regardless of how you say it. It'll pass. My 2 cents. :plane:

Pacific Jets can fly their CJ1 into Ardmore, according to their website ( ). ;) Alex Have also seen a Lear 35a ZK-XVL (c/n 649)in there but parked up the Warbirds end and of course the regular C501 N800DT (c/n 501-0198) that is based. Be interesting to see what would fit onto the runway. Apart from a few deliveries cant see the place being that good because of where it is although I assume parking/landing etc is cheaper? Nunner

Beech nineteen hundred D, but I usually don't bother with the "D" unless I'm being really specific about what model of 1900 it is.

Jon, when do you fly back into Wellington (I mean what time) cause if 16's active I can watch you land from my house! I'm back Dude, didn't see this message until now. Arrived just after 3 in a 1900D on 34. Got heaps of photos of the flight I will share a bit later, some good cockpit shots.

The video showed that there was no wind, prior to touchdown there was a comotion in the cockpit according to witnesses. I'm sure the black box would show that its probably pilot error at least thats the impression I get.
