QUOTE I do hope someone doesn't ever switch off the GPS satellites Don't laugh, there are 5 satellites that are currently at "critical" status i.e. they are 1 failure away from dying and 1 replacement satellite was recently lost in an unsuccessful launch. If they need to move a satellite to cover a failure in all likely hood they will pinch one from a quiet part of the world like the South West Pacific. There are already big RAIM holes over South Australia.
